"Well, I guess we are going to have to find someone to sail us out of here, so I guess we're going to have to make our presence known sooner or later."He peeks back through the gate, then turns to back to the party. "Though we don't know if whoever did this is still in the town. And any group powerful enough to burn an entire town is not something I would like to run into. So how about we hide the horses and try to be as quiet as possible."
(DM: What buildings do we see from the gate? Anything not on fire?)
When the group is ready to move forward, Folzi will scout ahead. Stealth 21, Perception 13
Nearly every building has been torched but a few just simply look torn open! Folzi can make out another group pushing a cart coming towards the gates as if moving towards the Waste!

Remaining hidden in his spot, Folzi pulls out a copper wire and casts message on the least threatening looking member of the group approaching (Perception to determine target? 22). "What's going on here? Hey, where y'all going? Oh... You can reply to this message."

Lyra, daring enough to follow the two, will sneak behind them and wait until they move onward, while examining the destruction visible in the village. (Can hypothesize what caused all of this?)
Folzi and Nick see a smaller figure among the approaching group begin to look around but do not spot the group yet. Hrian and Pat however are visible! They then watch as the group turns abruptly into another road within the town disappearing.
"Taking what we can and getting out before the dragon returns. You should do the same," a voice replies to Folzi!
To Lyra is just looks like a fire destroyed the town.

"Was this just the work of a dragon - since everything is on fire, I take it a red? No cultists, or anything like that?"Folzi continues to probe through his spell.
The gnome relays the information to Hrain, through his spell, "Just people trying to get out from a dragon that blew through here. Hopefully, no threat there."
"This doesn't look like the work of the white dragon, how many cab there be out here, and where are they now?" Hrain whispers back to Folzi before informing Pat of Folzi's message.

"I'm headed towards the docks to take a look ahead. Give me a minute here just make sure there aren't any obvious surprises,"Folzi messages to Nicknack. He then slips off towards the direction of the docks, staying within the shadows of the wrecked buildings.
Folzi disappears in the smoke but he's having a hard time navigating in it. Stopping just 60ft away from the group he's unable to see his party any longer and the path ahead is just as unclear. He's beside a burnt out hut at a cross roads. There are several directions to take but his sense tells him continuing straight must lead to the harbor.
(Swallowed by the smoke... This is where Folzi is sent to Barovia. LOL!)
"Son of a *****!"Folzi hisses. He coughs trying to clear his lungs as the smoke overtakes him. "Good job there, Tarkleby!" Having lost sight of the others, he waits hoping they will continue where they last saw him.
