"Right, why don't you lead the way forward? You seam a little more durable than the rest of us, and who knows how many more home defences they may have left lying around for us."
Olen holds his hand out in the direction of the stares back up, waiting for Copper, and following him as he begins to moves out.
"Gah!" Kinnik laughs. "Okay, okay! Enough hugging, big guy!" Kinnik says. "I wasn't kidding, you know. This place is horrible. Let's find the... schema," Kinnik draws out the word, savoring the sound of it. "Let's find Boss's schema and scoot."
Kinnik picks up his torch and heads to the stairs motioning for Copper to scout ahead of him. "C'mon, fox. Let's get rich."
Vasha reluctantly follows along behind the rest, "Is no one else questioning how our mascot-pet suddenly learned to talk fluently? Something tells me something nasty is going to pop out of either his chest or head by the end of this."

"True enough!"Copper leads the way out. "And if something does pop out of Kinnik, well," Copper nods toward his axe. The blade seems to sheen with the gesture.
Together, you enter what appears the largest chamber of this foundry, the laboratory itself. The room, excluding entry, is roughly 30 by 30 feet. There are a total of eight vats of various sizes by the walls. All of them are six-feet tall but of varying volume. They are filled to the top with liquid substances that radiate a faint green light. It could not be water, not after this long. The liquid inside the vats is blue or green but it appears to be thicker than water. The way it bubbles, it appears similar to oil. From where you stand at the entry, the vats do not appear to be empty.
The floor is littered with metal implements, rusty instruments, and all kinds of laboratory paraphernalia. It looks as if someone had trashed the place before abandoning it. It was not a recent event; the dust layer is thick in this chamber too.
There are two metal tables in the middle of the room. One is empty, but the other one has something on it. The object on the table radiates faint green light.
Copper sniffs and cautiously throws a glance at the rest of you, "Well, if it ain't obvious, that glowing thing is magical. Think it's the schema? This place sort of gives me the creeps."

"Easy there pyro, let's give it a good look first." Copper goes to step towards the object, but pauses halfway through the motion. A few short lines of whispered gibberish come out of his mouth before he shakes his head and rests back on his heels. Copper looks around the room with a grin, seeming to take it all in. "Well this looks promising! And that thing is magic! I can smell the reward already." he says in his usual voice that you're all familiar with. Again he goes to step towards the object, this time going on normally and stepping up to the table to inspect it.

You reach for it with your dagger. Once you give it a good old poke, ancient artifact begins to vibrate; a thumping low-pitched vibration you can feel in your core. The vibration is stronger and weaker in a pattern similar to that of a heartbeat. The schema rises from the table, floating a few inches from the table’s surface.
Everyone, something catches your attention. The little trinkets and pieces of laboratory hardware littering the floor vibrate and start moving. Smaller objects collide into bigger ones to create an exponentially larger thing. Before you stand, within several heartbeats, 6-feet tall bodies made mostly of metal. The don’t have hands but instead, their arms end up in sharp blades. In the middle of their faces, eyes of green light glare at you from beneath foreheads bearing identical cog-shaped ghulra sigils.
There are clear differences but no one would blame you if you said they were some kind of warforged. Your eyes are involuntarily drawn away from the scene as the schemas vibrating pitch changes. Suddenly, the strange warforged-like creatures violently lurch towards you.
Oh boy, another fight!

Olen returns his daggers to their hiding places, as Kinnik draws the symbol in the dust.
He moves forward as Kinnik finishes talking and brushes the symbol away with his foot.
A huge smile spreads across his face has the full import of the revelation hit him.
"You can speak! Woohoo!"
Olen steps forward and grabs Kinnik swinging him around,
"This is incredible! It's like we have been separated by a glass wall all this time, limited in our communication, and the wall just up and vanished!"
As Olen is watching and listening to Kinnik, he turns his head to observe Copper for a moment, his smile still in place.
"Isn't it amazing Copper? Thank you to House Cannith, for your strange magic's!"
Using a sign during the last part, Olen signals back uncertainty in Thieves' Cant.
