Just so that there are no day longs confusion, unless somebody wants to poke Karl about the specific spider bounty... Orrrr try to wake up the prisoner for a more aggressive interrogation, I'm fine with skipping to the hob waking up unbound, and the group hidden nearby; waiting to follow him.
Of the hobgoblin gear and bodies(living and dead), if there's time enough to at least strip the armor and weapons and hiding it elsewhere, then Vondal at least would bring it up after the short rest. Just so our "runaway" hob doesn't get any ideas about picking them up during his return to others.

When you realize you're doing too much: Signature.
After an hour, the five of you find a hiding place near enough to keep an eye on the hobgoblin, but far enough away that you feel you will remain hidden once it wakes up. You wait an hour. The hobgoblin is still unconscious. Do you continue to wait?
OK, he was the one I was wondering if he would be too impatient to wait.
After another hour, the hobgoblin finally regains consciousness. It surveys the battlefield, seeing its fallen comrades left to rot in the hot sun. It turns and begins moving through the trees.

Roll stealth, DC18. If you think you could have done something to give yourself advantage, let me hear your arguments.
Karl looks around at his colleagues and mutters quietly in case the Hobgoblin hears "well anybody that expected a bunch of dwarves to be quiet 'as got rocks in 'is 'ead!"

I'm fine with that.

Sounds like a plan.

Sorry about being offline. I am in my exam period so my posting will be a little sporadic for the next week or so.
Once he has come to his senses, he helps Vondal search and strip the bodies before joining the group for a rest.

So I guess the consensus is to untie the hobgoblin and then hide and wait for it to wake up?
(@DDP: E'yup. Would hobble him, or like paint his shoes with something. But neither is in at least Vondal's character to suggest, or on hand to use.)

Patience is a virtue - Karl will continue to wait!

(@All: Unfortunately, I didn't take Way of the Shadow, 'cause otherwise we'd totally have something there. XD)
(And aside from Nif pulling out some magic sheninigans to trick him further, yeah... we ain't had nothing.)
