Vondal switches to magic missiles, sending two point-blank darts to vanquish the (black with white) goblin and one to further wound the prone hobgoblin. (hob1 -10 total) The creature looks ready to succumb. At the same time, Adrom steps up and swings his hammer at the same goblin. The cleric's swing is too wide, however, as his footing gives way a little during his attack due to bones being crushed beneath his boot. (OOC: Flanking requires two creatures.) Unhindered by his unsure footing, his spiritual weapon slams down on the prone hobgoblin, ending its life.
Karl and Nif raise their weapons to finish the prone hobgoblin, but as Vondal and Adrom beat them to it, they aim their attacks at the hobgoblin standing on the table. The creature moves its shield to deflect Nif's sneaky attacks, leaving an opening for Karl, who almost mortally wounds the hobgob with his axe. (-9 hp)
As Vondal approaches, the (black with green) goblin drops its bow and draws its scimitar, swinging wildly at the monk. (Attack: 20 Damage: 7) Navigating the crowded space causes Vondal to leave an opening in his defenses, and the blade leaves a bloody gash. The hobgoblin disengages, jumps off the table, and runs through the door!
By this point Vondal is covered in a number gashes. Enough to where if it weren't for all of their experiences since signing up to help Gundren, the old gold dwarf would've long since collapsed to the ground, quiet save for strangled cries while clutching on to the worse wounds. While he would yet to truly claim to be a warrior, he took the pain in stride, and simply re-adjusted his grip to lessen jolts of pain. "For vhat its vorth, you've all fought well. But, you cannot think you can kidnap friend and not pay dearly!"The last point is emphasized in a low sweeping stroke of the axe that bled into back spin kick to the sternum.
And if the goblin should fall to the combination, Vondal grits his teeth against aftershock of pain, put away the axe, and walked over ready to retrieve Zindral(next turn).
Action: Attack Using Vonsorm. (Lethal, Two-Handed) Battleaxe - Attack: 17 Damage: 12 slashing at remaining goblin.
Bonus Action: Rolling Thunder! (Lethal) Unarmed Strike - Attack: 23 Damage: 5 of bludgeoning remaining goblin.
Movement(if "last" goblin defeated): Back over to Zindral. (14J, I think)

Seeing that Vondal has taken a hard beaten Adrom walks towards him. While walking he moves his spiritual axe towards the remaining goblin and slash at him tryinig to end this threath.
He then puts a hand on Vondal's shoulder.

Karl moves to the door and attempts to open it. When he finds it won't open, he bares his teeth and slams a shoulder hard against the wood. There is an "Oof!", and the door opens, though not as smoothly as he might have anticipated. He hears something land on the other side, and once the dwarf steps through, he looks down upon the hobgoblin knocked to the floor, but still conscious.
OOC: Karl, I converted your attack roll into a strength check to open the door. It beat the hob's strength check to hold the door closed. You knocked him five feet and prone, but that was your action (no attack this round). I have a question. You say "blood up" in your latest post, which I might would translate to a continued rage, but I don't remember you raging. Did you rage since entering this larger space? Or is that your way of saying you raged this round?
Working together, Vondal and Adrom smartly cut down the final goblin. Adrom places a healing hand on Vondal, and Vondal walks over to retrieve his bow.
Following behind Karl, Nif sees the hobgoblin collapsed against the hallway wall, draws his secondary crossbow (his first was dropped in order to draw his blades — and this drops his shortsword — and he'll have to drop his dagger if he's to load the crossbow) and fires at the hob. (Attack: 15 Damage: 9) The bolt ricochets off the creature's armor, doing no damage.
The hobgoblin gets to its feet and swings its sword at Karl. Attack: 8 Damage: 7) The creature's aim is good, but the weapon does almost no damage to the barbarian.
Vondal nods curtly in thanks to Adrom. But when he sees the new blockade in the way, and not wanting to spare either poorly aimed shot or spell, Vondal gruffly mentions in dwarvish an intent to go around, before then snatching up Zindral and making his way through the north door and beyond.
Action: To Open Door(at 12-i). (spent free action retrieving Zindral this turn)
Movement: To 11-J.

Adrom moves forward and concentrates on moving his spiritual weapon, wich he sends swirling horizontally over his companions heads towards the hobgoblin. While spinning the axe once again seems to heat as if it was on a forge and the heat also drops over the fleeing creature.
OOC: Grant, I got your note about not raging. Go ahead and take your turn this round.
Vondal slips out of the north door.
Nif's bolt is deflected off the hobgoblin's armor.
Adrom's spiritual weapon follows the hobgoblin and Karl out of the east door. It swings at the creature, but Adrom can't quite see past Karl well enough to aim properly, and the weapon misses. (DC14 DEX save: 8) The cleric prays forth a sacred flame, which the creature cannot dodge, and the radiant energy smites the hobgoblin.
Karl still has his turn. This is what he'll see when he stands over the now-deceased hobgoblin:
There is a door to the south and a curtain to the north.
Karl moves (north) up the corridor and peeks behind the curtain to see another strange meeting of other corridors. There's a door to his left, another curtain ahead, and a door to his right. Nif moves five feet out of the dining room to watch the door as he was instructed. Adrom moves 25 feet after Karl and Nif, stepping over two dead goblins and ending up straddling a third.
As Vondal is heading toward the door to his right after exiting the dining room to the north, he hears a door open to his north. Suddenly there is a small army of hobgoblins coming around the corner. The first hobgoblin (black) immediately draws an arrow with its longbow and fires at the monk. (Attack: 18 Damage: 7) Yet another projectile is threatening to strike; can the nimble dwarf catch this one, too? The other three hobs move around to try to corner Vondal, looking threatening and preparing to strike.

Reaction: Deflect Missle, reducing damage by: 9.
Vondal is able to catch the shot, but at so close a range, its momentum is too great to stop it from breaking the skin beneath his top. Still, even pressed into a corner, the dwarf put on a brave front while throwing the arrow away. But alone against such odds, it threatened to give at any moment.
Even so, he snapped into a more defensive posture with Zindral held in the fore ready to sweep aside an attack as he called out, "Four on our flank." With that, he could only hope the others heard, cornered as he ways. He risks one glance to the door to his north next, and at the cost of giving away his intentions reached over to yank the door open. If no visible enemies awaited him there, he would dip through, opening himself up somewhat. But Marthammor willingly, he position himself to hold them off in the frame. At least then for one the attack would be awkward, and archers would have to shoot past their fellows on a smaller target.
(@Zip: Not particularly, as far as I'm aware. But it was an option during Nif's and Karl's assassination mission to check out. And secondly, yes. He did call out there were four on our flank, and Nif would've saw that he dipped up to the north.)
