Vondal nods curtly and whispers, "Alright then. Make sure its locked. And if so, focus back on the bugbear and be ready to fire on my mark. I'll contact the others." He says as he pulls out his focusing crystal and began whispering a Message. First to Adrom, as he was the more level headed, and then to Karl an abbreviated version of the same message a repeat casting. "No sign of the Drow, but Nif spotted Bugbear laying in wait on far side of the room from our angle. Make some noise and keep them focused in your direction for... 12 to 15 seconds. When you hear them cry out in pain, that's your cue to get in there... You can reply to this message."
With the messages sent, he waits to hear back, or at least hear some noise entering the other chamber and counts down before signalling for Nif to take his shot.
Karl, you very quietly approach the double doors — one pushed into the room, the other still closed. You peek around the door and look into the room. At about a 45 degree angle to the northwest, you see two bugbears standing to either side of a small writing desk of some kind. As you look, the bugbears continue to look from your direction to a hallway to your northeast. You don't think they see you, but then you hear "There! At the door!" said in an excited whisper. Their heads both turn to look at each other and then swivel in your direction. Both are holding morningstars and shields, and they hunch forward a little as if preparing for whatever you might bring. They do not move toward you, however.
"Finally some action!" Karl mutters as he turns to Adrom saying "let the young 'un know things are gunna get a bit noisy in 'ere"as he turns back to the Bugbears "hey fugly wanna come and play"as he charges towards the bugbears axe raised.
If alerted by Adrom, if not by the shouted claims of Karl, Vondal in a panic either which way quickly motion/whispered for Nif to take his shot then and there before they lost what little element of surprise they had at their disposal. Immediately after, Zindral finds his hands as the monk prepared to join into the fray after a fashion not long after, seeing as he couldn't quite see any foes from the hall just yet.

Let me go ahead and start initiative as Karl runs in. I'm going to keep the previous initiative order since that is easiest, but we'll begin with Karl's turn. He was last in order, so he'll go, and the we'll begin Round 2.
Karl and Nif told me (directly or indirectly) where they are located. Vondal and Adrom, pick a logical square to start from.
Karl, with your 25 feet of movement, you can get the lower of the two bugbears. Here's the map, and you can go ahead and attack:
Adrom, from what I understood (according to Vondal's plan), you would have been at the southern double doors (outside in the hallway) with Karl. Would you have moved up when he did to peek around the door? Or did you stay out in the main hallway? I'm thinking you would be at F15 if you moved up, H16 or G17 if you didn't move at all, or F16 if you only moved a little. All of this would have been prior to him running into the room.
I completely forgot a very important detail about the room: A dwarf Karl and Nif would recognize as Nundro is sitting on the floor in front of the table (at C8).
Karl, your rolls are good for a hit. I just want to make sure that's what you want to do now that I've passed on this bit of information I should have said earlier.
Karl, your rolls are good for a hit. I just want to make sure that's what you want to do now that I've passed on this bit of information I should have said earlier (that Nundro is huddled on the floor in front of the table).
Please change Karl's action to dash and he'll stand over protectively over Nundro's body waving Hew threateningly "well fuglies you only get to him through me! Now do you really want to play? Go on say yes!"
Karl, since I neglected to give you all the information before, I'll let you decide the next time you're attacking whether we use the rolls you made in 3579 or if you want to roll new rolls.
As Karl stands over Nundro, looking menacing at the two bugbears, a voice comes from the other side of the desk. "My, what allegiance." It is a smooth, silky baritone voice. Karl looks, but cannot see anyone. It is definitely not one of the bugbears. The voice is moving north. "Tell me: Is it because he is also dwarf?"
The other dwarves can hear a voice, but the words are a little distorted and directionless because they are not talking loudly, and there's a little bit of an echo in the large room.

"Yup ya got it in one. Now is ya gunna show yer face or 'ide behind the two fuglies?"Karl responds
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Adrom moves towards the bugbears (F11) and aimed his warhammer towards the one closer to his friends ( yellow one). His hammer head turned red as if it was inside a forge and an red and orange ray crossed the room towards the bugbear.

Nif signals to Vondal that he heard nothing behind the door, and whispers a description of the bugbears. He then awaits further instruction.

Karl peers around the doorway (Stealth = 18) to see if he can spot the bugbear (Perception = 15) that Vondal claims is there.
