The door and jam begin to groan and creak under Karl's second attempt. The dwarf continues to apply pressure, Nif finally pitching in. As the two grunt with the effort, the wood splinters and the door flies inward, bouncing off the back wall with a clank. Karl and Nif stumbled forward a step, but remain upright. They look into a 10x30 storeroom. Racks of weapons line the walls of this chamber, including spears, swords, crossbows, and bolts. A dozen dirty red cloaks hang from hooks by the door.
Vondal requests for one as well once their discovery becomes known to him. "You should grab one as one, Droop. Just for now. Not gonna fool any Redbrands, but still got skeletons to worry 'bout. You too, Zander."Once everyone was properly geared up, Vondal makes sure Chaff Cutter is firmly in one hand as he takes the first peek past the door to the southern end.

Once everyone is ready, Nif will draw the cloak around his shoulders. He will then quietly lead the way down the stairs, crossbow ready and keeping his eyes out.
Nif, what you see is what you get here, but there are eight quivers of 20 bolts, so you can easily exchange your partial for a full. Even though many of the hanging cloaks are not clean, per se, none are bloody, so exchanging is easy enough. Vondal finds the shortest one and hands it to Droop, who looks wary of the covering, but slips it on obediently. It trails behind her like a train.
Vondal slowly opens the southern door and peeks through. Three large stone sarcophagi stand within this dusty crypt, and propped up against each sarcophagus is a human skeleton clad in bits of rusty mail. False columns along the walls are carved in the image of spreading oak trees. The double doors in the southeast corner are sheathed in tarnished copper plate.
"So far soo good."Vondal takes a tenative steps into the room all while keeping his eyes on the nearest skeleton. Then another off to the side... then another... If it all went well and none of the skeletons reacted, Karl... would probably already be at the door near green skeleton ready to open/break it down. "This should be it. Are you all ready?"He whispers quietly over to the others.
As soon as they had an answer, he steps off to the side for either Karl or Nif to be first through the door, shooting the nearest skeleton a wary glance. But an axe is nevertheless ready to launch at the first red cloak seen past the door.
Zander smirks when he sees Droop's cloak trailing before her, but it quickly fades when he notices the grubbiness of his own clashing cloak. He reminds himself that it's only until he gets past these bags of bones. His nose then wrinkles as he notices just how... unpleasant these skeletons were.
"Do you think they'd attack if I started torching them? I just don't like the way they seem to be eyeing me. Or... socketing me, I suppose."
His hand bursts once more into flame, as it has many times before, and the light of the flame gleams in his entirely black eyes. He then glances to Vondal by the door.
(Prepare action firebolt)
"I suppose I could reserve it for the redbellies instead. But.. those skellies are just so... echh!"
“Let’s see how well this works”Karl says as he walks into the room as if he has every right to be there. As he enters the room he turns and looks over his shoulder and says to Vondal “if this doesn’t work I’m gunna come back and haunt you!”
The skeletons do not move an inch as the cloak-clad individuals move into and through the room. As you can see from the map, there is a single door in the northeast corner and double doors on the same wall, but south.
(@DDP: Going for the doors in the northeast corner first.)
"I believe you uncle. Now. Everyone get ready." He says in tight whispers as he stays at the ready for Karl to break through the door. 'Please let's this be the right one'He thought grimly as he shoots the other doors one last glance.
(@DDP: Vondal was at R6, but since Karl isn't kicking the door open this time as I thought he was going to...)
Vondal takes one last breathe to steady his nerves, shoots droop a look, then tests the northeastern door(S5). Soon as he felt some give he opens it with much more force as he tries to slam it open the rest of the way as he rushed inside, chaff cutter in hand, and ready to sail into the side of a guard. Unless it opens into the coffin room, then he is at least delicate enough to avoid slamming the door into the skeleton by accident.

Nif will search the room, if he finds nothing of particular interest he will focus on grabbing more crossbow bolts.
Karl looks at the Red Cloaks. If one is in better condition than the one he is currently wearing it, he swaps them over.

Zander grabs a cloak and slips it on, frowning when he sees it clashes with the finery he's wearing currently.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."

Where is everyone physically on the map?
Karl is in R5 keeping an eye on the skeletons while somebody else looks at the door.

Zander's at R4.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
R4 is in the store room. I don't think Zander's still in there. R5 and S5 are taken.
(Sorry, I meant Q5)

Gotcha! Waiting to hear from Zipnok.
