"May he guide and protect you too," Tamara replies her expression hard. "Take care in the maze..." she then calls out as Gilly shifts from one foot to the other with a nervous smile.
"Noting is as it seems," Gilly adds her warning as the men leave the shop.
Behind them they hear Tamara return to the forge ahead the sun is setting in the autumn sky and the streets are actively becoming dark. Shop keeps come outside lighting braisers near the street but soon only the lights fromi side the building themselves and these few braisers dotting the outsides will light the street itself. Near the end of it towards the stronghold a man with a bell begins ringing it and shouting. His voice is distance but it sounds methodical. He's appearance doesn't seem to stir the locals but travelers listen woth rapped attention. The man moves down the street towards the party until finally he's close enough to hear.
"Full moon and the maze opens tomorrow. Town of Carrowkeel to witness the 330th opening of the Bitterend," he shouts. "Many enter none come out. Be on your guard. Full moon and maze opens tomorrow. Town of...." He repeats moving down the street away from the party members.
It then dawns on them, he's the town crier. The blue man now approaches the party.
"You have under two hours to finish here," the blue man speaks amd the party faintly here what sounds like a clock ticking ominously from somewhere inside the metal man. "Shall I escort you out or do you wish to visit somewhere else," he asks his voice monotone.

Griff lays on the ground. His feet close to the fire and his head propped up against the side of Lucky who is fast asleep behind him.
"So what do you guys know about the maze? I got a'bit of info from the camp beside us. Other than that all I know is the basic tales. Full moons, dangers, riches and all that. The bloke from the camp over mentioned it being in a bog, but wasn't really into sharing much else." Griff picks up a twig from the ground and throws it into the campfire.
Flint will look to Griff and pull out the piece if paper that fell out if the sack when he scooped up the goggles. "I found this piece of paper... I was having a hard time reading it before, maybe you will have better luck." Flint will scratch his chin a bit. "I also learned that all the locals hate to talk about the maze... one of them told me that there are spies making sure that we dont get information from them... I think those metal men following us around were probably spies..."
Karnic looks around, "Lets make these last two trips as quickly as possible. I would like to pick up some spell components while we are at the magic shop. Do you want to get a bag of holding or see if there is another haversack?" Karnic will make his way to the magic shop.

OoC: I'm not super familiar with the difference between a bag of holding and the haversack. Isk is happy to let you decide which to get.
"Yes, lets be quick. I'll wait outside the shop though, Hendrick really tried my patience the last time i was in there and I wouldn't want to accidentally drop my hammer on him..."
"Hmm if there are spies making sure locals don't talk , someone has to be giving that order" Griff sits up and wakes up, Lucky. "Hey Luck..." He gives her a gentle scratch behind the ear. then moves in close. "Check that there isn't anyone in the bushes watching us... and be quite about it" He whispers into the Wolfs ear. The beast gets up and slowly walks into the forest surrounding them. Griff turns to Flint and takes the map. He moves close to the fire and adjusts the paper. "Where'd you find this?" asks Griff as he looks the map over.
Nam looks over their shoulders at the map "you should keep that pu away till we get in the maze. This forest may have spies of its own" he says as he looks around the camp suspiciously.

bag of holding - it's a bag like Santa's bag; lots more weight and room
OOC: Both are good but I think of them as an extra-dimensional bookshelf that holds lots of stuff but they remain a set amount if weight regardless of what's inside!

"I got that map in the same place I got those goggles.... I assume they both came from someone that traveled through the maze before us since they hell out of a used backpack..." Flint will looking at the map. "You think it is a map of the maze?" Flint will say looking at the map from over Griff's shoulder.
At first glance, it's a map of a maze. If it's the maze you are unsure. It shows seven entrances to the maze with a place on the map that is labeled Carrowkeel at the bottom. The maze dominates the entire unburned portion of the map the burned portion however
OOC: Give me a survival check Griff.
Flint doesn't notice: hear, smell, or see anyone else besides his companions. As he looks at the map along with his companions he can see like Griff and Nam it might be the northern edge of town nearest the bog that continues on to the maze. On the very edge of the top almost burnt completely away he can see it says Bitt...but nothing else is decipherable. Flint can not, however, remember anything about such a map in his travels and it doesn't seem at all magical.

"Isk, wait out here. Karnic and I will get the bag of holding and his needed spell components. Perhaps you can take some gold and buy more rations from the general store and we'll meet back up and get out of town. "
Garrett looks up at the metal man.
"A quick trip back to the magic shop, some rations from the store and we are outta here okay?
Not waiting for an answer he'll count out 12gp and hand it to Isk.
"Get 120 days of rations, that should be 12 packs at 1gp each. Wait for us by the store."
Turning to Karnic,
"Sound good to you? That's 20 more days of food each plus what we already have. You grab what you need, I'll get the bag. "
Heading in to the magic shop he'll find the bag of holding for purchase.
OOC: Ok guys I give. You will buy the rations and the bag of holding correct? It's 450 like I said before. The party's cash is 563 which the party does have in the mystical communal pot. Everyone needs to RP their way to the camp and I've subtracted the gold form the pot. You three RP your way to camp.
Garret, Isk, and Karnic need to choose one person for a roll with advantage on survival to find camp OR each of your make a single roll.
