Choosing to remain near to his team members, Dagon followed closely, still casting his head about and sniffing the air in his animalistic manner. He muttered very quietly under his breath in a guttural language that sounded like some kind of bastardization of Orc and Giant, and though his speech was difficult to follow, the cadence of the words made it seem like some sort of ritual chanting. A hunting mantra, perhaps.
Upon passing the demonic faces carved in the walls, the marauder spared only a glance and returned a ferocious expression of his own, hissing and baring his tusks in mockery. Chuckling to himself, he squatted to inspect the fallen dwarf statue briefly, attempting to discern how and when the statue had been laid low. Had one of their competition felt momentary destructiveness, or was this done by someone else long since turned to dust?
Investigation Check, seeing how recently the statue had been knocked over:14
That is a usable if not completely accurate map. The corridors wind and turn, and are rarely straight. But you get the idea.
The statue appears to have been dragged this way from the room you were just in, judging by the scratch marks on the ground. This is no easy feat considering the statues weight of at least two tons.

"Someone must have displayed the strength of a Giant." Dagon rumbles to his companions, still inspecting the statue. "This stone..." The half-orc gave it a nudge with the butt end of his greataxe, "has been dragged from the previous chamber to it's present location. No easy feat."
The warrior's dark eyes then narrow. "Why?"
Investigation Check, specifically at the statue's base and the surrounding floor area:2
At Kic's question, Humphry stood up and shrugged, giving the 'I don't know' grunt, and slowly climbed down off the cube with the use of his staff. When he finally got down, he looked up at the aarakocra, briefly making eye contact and imminently shifting is gaze away, flitting between the two new paths. The old gnome was feeling meek about his outburst, and he said nothing as he followed Dagon into the eastward corridor, twiddling his thumbs and looking down.
Kic follows Dagon and Humphry pondering Dagon's question and the current situation. He will continue to turn and check behind them wary of an attack from behind.
"Y-y-y-you should try pushing it yours-s-s-self. See how s-s-s-st-strong one must have b-b-b-b-been to move it, hmm?" Humphry looks at scuffed floor in between the statue and the room it came from, "It ap-p-p-pears we've found mister McHiggins." A short series of staccato giggles shook Humphry's stiff frame, "Wh-wh-wh-what a name for a-a-a-a dwarf, eh?"
The half-orc marauder nods once in acquiescence to Humphry's suggestion. "Couldn't hurt." He growls, then resting his greataxe against the corridor walls, Dagon grips the statue with both hands and plants his feet shoulder-width apart and with a low rumbling oath begins to pull against the statue's weight.
An abruptly sharp roar bursts from the half-orc's throat as he finally relents, dropping his grip on the statue and backing away a step. His dark eyes are ablaze with barely checked rage and his grimace is one of incredibly malicious intent. The warrior lets fly an oath in Giant so vile that it nearly scorches the air with it's vitriol, and to assuage his anger, Dagon spits a glob of saliva onto the statue's face. He then retrieves his axe, glares at the statue for a moment as if contemplating hacking away at the stone but realizes the futility of that action and turns glowering back toward his team.
"It's like trying to drag half a mountain. Whatever moved this stone has the strength of a Titan." Still growling with anger, the half-orc turns to continue down the corridor. "We should move forward. Let this Gods-cursed 'McHiggins' continue his stony rest."

"Ha! What a b-b-b-beast it must have been." After Dagon gets up from his attempt, Humphry waddles up to the side of the statue furthest from the chamber, and searches the ground around for tracks, blood, fur, feathers, scales, anything that might give a clue to what had moved the statue, as well as the direction in which it was heading.
The stone was evidently dragged this way from the room you have just left, but you cannot find any traces that would identify the perpetrator of this titanic feat of strength.
Thought you might appreciate a quick overview of the dungeon, so here you are.
The dungeon: The walls were evidently built flawlessly by expert masons, but they are now cracked and offer sufficient handholds for anyone wishing to climb them. The floor is made up of flagstones, and these are likewise crossed with cracks. The doors and portcullii that you encounter are made of strong wood, stuck in some places and locked in others. An unidentifiable glowing fungi and the odd torch line the dungeon walls, offering a dim light, but for maximum vision you must light torches of your own or use natural darkvision if you are so gifted.
Seeing Dagon move forward, Humphry gets up from his investigation, and follows closely behind the half-orc.
It is only now that the gnome notices the horrid physiognomies of the demonic carvings. He makes quick jittery glances towards each one he passes, and his paranoia finally gets the best of him, "Hold" he says in a hushed tone. The group watches as Humphry rushes up in front of Dagon, and starts systematically looking over every nook and cranny of the corridor, looking for any sort of pressure plates, tripwires, and other traps, paying special attention to the carvings for holes things could be shot or pumped in though. Investigation 8
If and when he gets to the end of the hallway, he also checks the door. Investigation 13
Perry simply followed the others, playing his lute as he watched them search about. To him it seemed rather pointless, the time wasted, but he was in no rush to reach the end. "I guess that's my cue." Moving ahead to open the door.
Beyond is one of the larger rooms you have yet encountered, with several exits. There are two doors and one portcullis on the south wall, including the door you just opened. There is also one door each on the west, north, and south walls.
Upon entering into the large room, Dagon scans around the walls, ceiling and floors in a brief cursory exam to get a feel for the group's new surroundings. The half-orc marauder snorts to himself and takes a few steps forward, still looking about himself. His eyes narrow in thought for a moment before calling out to his team mates.
"Pack, we should try and be deliberate in our choice of direction, as if we are making a conscious decision to reach a destination. Many of these corridors have twisted and turned, and we can only suspect that our prey lies in another section of this labyrinth, also winding their way towards our grasp. If we choose the imagined center of this maze as our objective, perhaps north should be our direction."
Unaccustomed to speaking such detailed thoughts, the warrior grimaces again and spits upon the floor, as if clearing his palate of the taste of words. He hefts his wicked greataxe and moves toward the northern most door, but he pauses before nearing it or touching it for his team's ideas on the matter.

Humphry enters the chamber the with the rest of the group and listens intently to Dagon's words, "Well c-c-certainly, tall one" he says, raising an eyebrow, "Lead th-th-th-th-the way."
With a curious smirk, the gnome sauntered up to his imposing ally, "Oh, wh-wh-whoopsy, almost forgot." And once again, Humphry sets to checking a door for traps. Invistigation 18

Kic will look at the group and ask "Anything interesting?"
(Would this be an accurate depiction of what we know about the area?)

Strength Check: 13
Even Dagons primal strength cannot move the statue more than half an inch, and his muscles protest against this impossible feat.
