Are we heading towards gargoyles or something else? I wasn’t here for earlier stuff, but gargoyles seems like the reasonable place to go looking for elementals, yeah?
Rodolfo says, "Ok, so I have this wand here and it's been helpful before."
He pulls out his Wand of Viscid Globs and points it at the closest winged status. "One way to find out if it's alive or not."
He takes aim and tries to shoot a glob at it: 11
You will have to move into the crystal waterfall cave to get within 60 feet (and get LOS) of those gargoyles. FYI, the gargoyles are at X14 & V21 (not shown on map)
EDIT: I don't want to presume or do a 'gotcha' and move you to where you can use the wand. Let me know where you want to be before taking that shot.
Rodolfo says, "Oh, I forgot, we have to go through the waterfall first! Not to worry, just step through it!"
He will go up the initial stairs and through the waterfall. If nothing else happens, he'll position at about J8.
I think J8 is still not within the 60ft for the range of the wand. But if you're ok with me moving you close enough to fire the wand, I can do that for you.
Orubis sees the gargoyles and moves ahead of the party. He attempts to shift into his hybrid form, to take advantage for the coming fight
Hey, I provide coordinates on the map so you can tell me where you want to go. From your post, I don't know if you mean you just stay in front, or if you are actually moving some distance towards the gargoyles...
I missed the initiative post somehow, and thought I was being nudged outside of init. I wasn’t sure how far I’d get before it got a reaction. I’ve posted coordinates now

I don't think we have mentioned before... I don't think the gargoyles have actually moved, to our knowledge. We are assuming they are creatures, but there is a chance that they actually are statues. (Or maybe the evil dust cloud has to animate them.)

I’ve complained often about crappy rolls, but three 1s and a 2 takes the prize.

(OOC: Since the gargoyles have acted, I assume we are at the top of round 2. Although, it looks like the gargoyles have pre-moved for round 2 with those better to-hit rolls.)
No, Rodolfo started the action with an attack with the wand. So I rolled initiative, then started round zero on Rodolfo's turn. So the Gargoyles had one turn before Beegred did. You had posted you wanted to move and dash, so that is what you did in Round 1. The Gargoyles haven't acted in Round 1 yet. Waiting on Skameros to post.. I think.
Does anyone else get triggered by stuff like this? The crit has the same damage as a regular hit. The randomness of rolling damage dice seems to undo the special'ness of getting a crit in the first place.
Is this something you would all like me to homebrew? (Keeping in mind, it would apply against you as well)
Randomness at its best - the code is set to roll twice on crits - shit rolls are part of the game - I'm fine with the way it is because the potential is still great.
Giving the others a chance to post before I narrate moving to the waterfall.
This occurs in room 17, before you all got to the Menhir. Anyone going to answer?

What is everyone else going to do?
Yeah, Rodolfo isn't too sure of the exact range of the wand, so trying and moving closer makes sense.
Orubis will move up in front of Rodolfo to be his wingman so to speak. Holding up his shield (dodge)

Initiative:
Edit... I mucked up the rolls trying to delete Narstin from the list. See main thread for initiatives.
Noted. Grithik uses action to hold an Eldritch Blast.
Orubis is going to continue to dodge?
