Like Kerrec said, the miming has worked before.
He had Sarith give a great suggestion that I didn't think of (main thread post 119 ), but then I had to justify how Beegred would know what to do (post 120 ).

Question on the logistics for Tozer helping derendil push a quaggoth off the ledge. Since none of them are actually in melee range of us yet, can Derendil ready his action to shove the first one to come into range, then tozer help at that point? Basically tozer readying a help action while derendil readies a shove to get the advantaged roll when the time comes?
There is an optional rule in the Dungeon Master's Guide called Shove Aside:
Shove Aside
With this option, a creature uses the special shove attack from the Player’s Handbook to force a target to the side, rather than away. The attacker has disadvantage on its Strength (Athletics) check when it does so. If that check is successful, the attacker moves the target 5 feet to a different space within its reach.
Basically shove works by pushing directly away. Shove aside uses the same mechanics but gives disadvantage to try and shove an enemy sideways.
If you want to use a plain Shove, then Derendil will have to move and hope the enemy places itself between Derendil and the ledge (I will roll 50/50 chance). Otherwise the Shove Aside variant will be used with disadvantage, which would get cancelled out by advantage from Tozer, so a straight Athletics vs. Athletics check.
I decided to give VanderLegion the DM inspiration from Beegred. Just rolled a 1.
Do I get to reroll, due to halfling Luck? Or is this considered the other guys roll, where Luck would not apply?

You give Derendil the inspiration, so Derendil can roll with advantage (you just rolled for him). There's a feat that allows halflings to let allies re-roll 1's. Unless you have it, I won't allow it.

I figured as much. That was a desperate plea, out of frustration.

Beegred to Derendil and Tozer: "You two pansies can't do anything right! I shoved one of those goons off the edge by myself, and you can only play patty-cake with it !"
The anger at being yelled at by this idiot halfling is enough for a second effort. New VanderLegion Athletics roll: 6
(Hahaha. Figures :P. Though I'm not sure inspiration helps anyway. It just gives advantage on a roll doesn't it? Which Derendil already had from tozer's help, then was canceled out by the disadvantage from shoving sideways)
Yeah, I forgot that part. But I suppose it is worth it to burn an Inspiration for a "Hahaha" moment.

I'm only remote-piloting Sarith at the moment. I'd be willing to puppet another NPC or 2, if they are added to my "Creature" list. (Maybe Topsy and Turvy?)

Doesn't have to be them. Making the offer to spread the work around, but I'm fine with just Sarith, too.

Imgur doesn't seem to be working for me tonight. Not sure why, will give it a day to sort itself out. In the meantime, we have a new player that will jump right into the game by taking over one of the characters that was abandoned.
Xilyra Greymoore now becomes Xilyrah Graymoore. Still a Half Drow Warlock.

There's Ront and Buppido available atm.
For Kerrec: Add them to Beegred's creature list, and I will puppet them.
For Jack_Joke and VanderLegion: With the many quaggoth climbing up the wall, for a moment I was thinking we should retreat to the tower... But then I realized there is nothing to stop them from climbing into the tower as well, so better to continue fighting right now.
Also realized that quaggoths can't be poisoned, so I'm hoping killing their Drow bosses will confuse them. Derendil is a quaggoth, right? Maybe he can convince them to go on strike until their working conditions improve.

The "guard tower" is a hollowed out stalactite. To climb into it, they would have to climb to the ceiling, traverse upside down and then come down the stalactite. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think climb works without skill checks when traversing a ceiling.

You can mime a shove over the edge and hope he understands.

Whelp. That didn't work. Unless the target rolls a natural 1...
Let the melee begin!

Wow, tie. Per the player handbook:
When ties occur, the situation doesn't change.
