It would help ONE of you. You had cast it on Skameros, who led the party up the webs. And Skameros had it throughout the fight, so he wasn't hindered by the webs.
If you want to know if "it looks safe" to stick around and search the bodies, then make a perception check. The DC is pretty high.
Someone else can do the check.
Beegred would try a passive check (average result for a task done repeatedly), and rely on his "spidey-sense" to notice if the situation gets worse. The passive score of 20 is likely better than what I'd roll for an active check.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rodolfo will go and investigate the corpses of the casters. Not looting thoroughly, but doing a check for obvious stuff - magical items, money, wands, etc.
Just a heads up - I'll be out of town for the next few days and might not have a lot of time to post - but I'll try and poke my head in when I can. Worst case scenario I'll be home Sunday to catch up.
Beegred does have "Underdark" and "Mountains" as his ranger favored terrain. He does not have Survival proficiency, but he does have Perception and Investigation. Depends if Kerrec thinks that applies to this situation. If finding a safe cave in the rock side (off the webs) requires a passive Investigation check with favored terrain, then his score is 20.

Beegred hit dice rolls. I'll do 6 dice, but stop at 5 if the rolls are lucky and reach 58.

If the Game Log is more convenient for you, I am fine with using that for everything, including attacks and damage instead of you having to type in the forum formulas on your phone.
After examining the contents of the pouches and recalling the movements of the enemy during the fight - would Rodolfo arrive at a conclusion that this might have allowed them to move unhindered by the webs?

Yes! Applying some of this 'grease' to the underside of your bare feet as well as your hands would allow you to move across the webs without constantly sticking to them. However, you imagine there would some difficulty keeping your balance when you move. (DC 10 DEX Saving throw)
With the 3 bags, Rodolfo estimates there is enough for 3 applications for the entire party. IE: 3 x 6 = 18 individual applications. (Beegred, Rodolfo, Skameros, Thurnir, Orubis and your gnome scout)

Thanks! Enjoy your trip.
Someone roll a Survival check to see how well your party does at finding a safe spot (off the webs) to rest.
Thurnir helps with looking over the bodies, and will assist with looking for a place to hole up (grants advantage).
i believe Beegred is our survival expert

Rodolfo and Beegred wrote they are busy looting the bodies of the casters (a quick look before gtfo).
Orubis wrote he is not interested in looting and wants to get away.
Thurnir is helping find a place to go to rest (help action).
So I'm going to say Orubis is making the Survival check:
Orubis survival: 14
You can all go ahead and take and complete a short rest. You may also take any further actions before we proceed with the climb.
Orubis hit dice 8 8 5
Paladin - warforged - orange
Rodolfo uses Arcane Recovery to recover 1 2nd-level slot and 2 1st level slots.
Also using two hit dice: 3, 6 and another one, 4
Rodolfo will also take a look at the stuff they got off the casters.
Beegred hit dice rolls. I'll do 6 dice, but stop at 5 if the rolls are lucky and reach 58.
