Xilyrah isn't translating because the Kuo-Toa only speak undercommon and she doesn't want to raise their suspicions (even more) by speaking to her party in a language they don't understand.
That's fine, just wanted to make sure to get a post of some kind in :)
If Tozer decides to smack Buppido upside the head, then Beegred will do the same.

I had a feeling Buppido would skedaddle leaving us in the lurch for something to offer the Kuo-Toa. I doubt they're interested in our gold. Any ideas? Xilyrah would rather not part with her toe for Beegred's mistletoe.

Seems unlikely the fish traders have mistletoe, so we should let them leave.
Beegred is going to bug every trader the party runs across, but I predict no mistletoe unless they run across some dead Druids.

I'm all for the buppido skedaddling version. Narstin would have some serious problems with selling someone :P. But I'm fine with letting him go off on his own.
@ Beegred: I guarantee that you will not have to go more than half the module without access to Mistletoe. I will continue to give you chances to roll and decide from there to see if you can get your hands on some even earlier.
So ends day 7.
Day 8:
Illumination, 1-3 = light, 4-6 = dark: 1
Passage width, 1-2 = single file, 3-4 = two abreast, 5-6 = wide open: 6

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I wrote earlier in one of the threads that Stool always knows the cardinal direction of his home, regardless of where he is. I haven't been able to figure out where I came up with that, but it's cannon now. Also, since darkness would make it more difficult to help, I rule Stool helps Sarith.

@Bold: When Buppido spoke to Tozer, he spoke in Dwarvish. The above was spoken in Undercommon, meant for everyone.

I don't believe Tozer understood the last part.
I've got a post planned in my head, just need a break in my work day to get it up. Soon....

Things are growing very interesting. A nice little moral dilemma.
Kerrec, do you want me to role-play Eldeth's response? If so, I just realized I don't know (or I forgot) Eldeth's alignment.
Eldeth is defiant, self sacrificing for those she deems to be worth it. She's stubborn and hates "corrupt dark dwellers" such as derro and duergar.
Going to let Xilyrah have some input before resolving the Buppido incident, as she rolled high enough and should get a chance to participate.

Roll investigation anyway. Never know.
Beedgred Investigation (proficient but dumb): 18 (Edit: what the heck...)
If they have mistletoe, he can offer a shiny gold piece.

Day 8:
Day 8 is uneventful. For the skill checks, Buppido was assisting Sarith. Do you move anyone from water/food to assist Sarith?
Woo hoo, dead Druids!
If others agree, have Valthana "help" and Stool watch for danger. (If being in the dark is a problem, then Stool helps and Valthana watches.)
I'd also move Xilyrah from water foraging to danger watch. Don't want the Drow (or Buppido) sneaking up on us!
