Yeah, part of the frustration was that 8 for initiative, which is a 2 on the d20. That is basically the worst result for a halfling, since even a 1 gets a re-roll.

Skameros will rage - then run at Shoor and attempt to throw them off the ramp (like G15 or so)
[Athletics/Grapple: 16]
I'll use the Shove Aside rules for this. That means you make your athletics check at disadvantage. You (unsurprisingly) rolled a 3 and a 6. Since you had advantage, which cancels out disadvantage, then the DC is 13.
Skameros has 2 attacks per action, and shoving/grappling only uses one. You still have another attack/shove attempt.
I was going to have Beegred rush up the ramp, but having a prone enemy (thanks to Skameros) is too tempting.
Those Dread Ambusher to-hit rolls shouldn't surprise me (1, 2, 4), but it is nice to get a critical hit after a long drought.

Oh these rolls are painful! Let me know if the lizard can get close enough for a bite on the prone guy. If not he will dash so he’s right there next round or for any AOO.
Rodolfo would like to cast erupting earth, which says "Choose a point you can see on the ground within range".
Ideally he'd like to target it to hit the square with upper left corner at E15 and lower right corner at H18. If that's not possible then he would target the wall behind Thurnir with the aim to catch Ferriman, priestesses, Jorlan (and Thurnir). But I'm not sure if you consider this "on the ground".. :)
What would he be able to target? Also, he would definitely run closer first. F8 is about as close as he can get.
Nope you are good. Not sure if we will survive, but should be interesting!

Welp that didn't go nearly as well as expected - advantage and +10 and the best I could do was 16.

Shoor rolls a DEX saving throw for a total of 21 on Skameros's first attempt. (See game log)
(Or not. I don't know why the Game Log keeps resetting to 'self'. I can take a screen shot if you really want proof.)
Oh well those rules suck
guess I'll try again

Do those rules still suck? Nice roll btw. I had to double and triple check to be sure it wasn't Beegred posting or something. :P
The disadvantage to shove still sucks :P my other option was to flying tackle them off the edge.
Ok team - go kick their ass and I'll work on pulling the legs off the priestess next - no one owns Big Red!

A straight grapple doesn't impose disadvantage. But if you want to shove prone or shove aside, that takes a bit extra...
Btw, did Rodolfo notice the spiders being summoned?
Also, I don't see the slaves in the initiative order. How are they reacting to all of this?

I'll say Rodolfo doesn't know WHERE the spiders are. But he would have heard the spell being cast.
Also FYI, that tunnel can be used against you. Mistress Ilvara has made clear her intent on how to use it to your disadvantage.
Eldeth is firmly chained up. Topsy and Turvy have a defeated look to them. Jimjar is... taking wagers to whoever will listen.
Looks like the dice have been kind this round.
Hopefully I get to use Ilvara's secret weapon...

The spell is a 20 foot cube. E15 is where Skameros stands. H18 is Jorlan's position, although he's 20ft in the air and would not be affected.
If you choose to cast, you would hit Skameros, Shoor, Ferriman, Asha, Ilvara and Thurnir. Is that what you want?
Hmm.. Looking at it again, I would rather hit: Ront, Skameros, Ferriman, Ilvara, and Asha. Essentially targeting it between Ferriman and Skameros.
Skameros is raging and would take half damage (or even quarter, should he succeed).
I'll post in the main thread.
So thurnir’s just outside of it?
That was my intention, yes. I wouldn't have reached the floating ******* anyways...
Cool! Hopefully you break concentration on that spirit guardians, that spell hurts!
