Skameros throws a myconid food ball in front of it

The voice sounds pleased, "That is invigorating.  I did not realize I needed that.  I will have to find more.  Where can I find more?"

 "Down hallway back that way...." Skameros points to where they came from

The creature, who was retreating to allow you to pass, suddenly stops and reverses direction, heading directly towards all of you.

"Great, thanks for that, Skameros!" Narstin exclaims sarcastically as he starts backing away from the thing.

As the creature approaches, the telepathic voice continues to ask questions, "What is a Skameros?"

"I am a Skameros.....let us past head voice..you eat drow after we go past...."  

 Rodolfo says, "Well, it might been a good idea to have him in front of us instead.. who knows what else we are facing and the water is rising indeed."

He turns to "it", "Do you have a name? How can we address you? And there is probably food up that way as well," and he points ahead along the corridor.

Beegred: "The water is indeed rising. Hail, great blob of thinking goo! Do you know a way out of these passages, that beings like ourselves (and not squishy like you) could use? Although we are mostly-water, we prefer not to be drowned in rising water."

The creature stops, once again blocking the path, to answer Skameros, "Drow?  Is that the little thing you gave me to taste?"

Answering Rodolfo, "A name?  A name... Yes I know what that means.  My name is.... hmmm.  I will name myself then.  Name me... Glabbagool.  Food are the tasty things?  There is no food in this place for Glabbagool.  Only more like Glabbagool."

Answering Beegred, "A way out?  I have not known any other place than here.  But yes, must get out.  I must meet a king."

"no Drow bigger things like us but much tastier....they were following us...."  Skameros eyes the raising water behind them with some concern.

Rodolfo is concerned, "More Glabbagool? Are they friendly like you? If we don't find more food then we can make more food. But we need to move forward now. Please."

Glabbagool replies, "The others only scream 'Flesh for the Faceless Lord'.  They don't communicate like you all do.  I want to move forward to where the Skameros said was more tasty drow, but I would have to pass through you.  Do you wish to pass through me?"

Skameros moves out of the way to let Glabbagool past him and in to the tunnel to the east and will toss another myconid orb in to them.

Beegred will also step back to let Glabbagool go by. "YOU... SHALL... PASS!" (mischievous grin)

The party moves back into the little room (1 square), flattening themselves against the wall to let Glabbagool pass.

Elapsed time: 1hr 15min + 11 movement.

Glabbagool is courteous and thanks the Skameros for the not-drow sustenance and heads off to the east in glee expecting to find some more food. 

Proceed North at a normal pace?

(North at normal pace, aye.)

The party moves north, which ramps upwards such that they are once again only standing in an inch of flowing water.  They move 15 squares into another corner room.  As they turn to head east, another gray ooze flops down from the ceiling, blasting everyone with a "FLESH FOR THE FACELESS LORD!"
