No, I made a mess of that, DM. Moravasti can't avoid the opportunity attack. I was thinking Step of the Wind, I suppose, but that would require a second bonus action. Not possible, of course.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The monk throws a couple of hits with his quarterstaff but the creature uses its claws in form of swords to parry it. He manage, however, to pass its defenses and hit it with open hand. But it doesn't feel as if the creature had taken the full blow of it.
It stops, however, for a second, and turns towards the monk. Makes a squeasingh sound that penetrates the minds of all around it and the claws begin to glow with a pale white light, with a faint bluelish aura.
It launches one, two, three, four rapid attacks with its apendages to the monk, who, among the midst of them thinks that, at least, it's not attacking the twonspeople anymore.
Attack: 16 Damage: 14 slashing damage plus 16 psychic damage
Attack: 24 Damage: 11 slashing damage plus 13 psychic damage
Attack: 26 Damage: 18 slashing damage plus 8 psychic damage
Attack: 26 Damage: 17 slashing damage plus 11 psychic damage
Moravasti is able to parry one of the attacks, but the brutality of the second one, caughts him off-guard. The claw slash him in the chest and the pain of the wound is almost subdued by the intense pain that the wound makes to his mind. He is not able to parry the third attack, and the second slash across his abdomen makes him scream while his mind, even with his trained mind to avoid external intrusions, burns into flames. The creature impale him with his right arm, lifting the body of the monk who had dare to attack him and Moravasti last thought before the darkness reclaim him is that he find curious that all the little eyes in the shoulders and neck of the creature are fixed on him.
(Initiative: Jorunn's turn the guards on deck and finally Vallineral)
Sorry Jack_Joke... dice were not on your side this time..

Holding her shield and battleaxe, Jorunn charges forward trying to divert the attention of the creature from her companion,
STR ST: 13
but when she is able to get clear of the crowd it's too late.
She slashs it with her axe, trying to cut off one of the creature's arm. Moving her weapon as fast as she could.
Attack: 18 Damage: 7
Attack: 9 Damage: 6
Both hits caught the creature off-guard, busy as it is with the monk, but the skin of it probes to be thicker than one could had expected and the wounds aren't as greivious as they should had been.
The two guards try to reach the creature too,
STR ST Guard1: 16
STR ST Guard2: 20
And they barely do, trying to impale it with their spears.
Attack: 14 Damage: 8
Attack: 17 Damage: 5
But then again the thick skin of the creature prevents worse damage.
The creature screams in pain again, and all of them can hear it in their heads. A thick, purple blood came out of the wounds, but it still seems ready to retribute those that had wounded it.

Vallineral, upon seeing this strange monster coalesce, draws his double-bladed scimitar. "Fell creature, your opponent should be me." The elf calls to it, moving up as he utters a prayer to protect the monk that just was struck. Then, he strikes with his blades at the beast.
Movement: Move to adjacent to the creature, taking the most direct path.
Action:Attack vs. creature. Double-Bladed Scimitar vs. Creature:27 vs. AC. Hit:11 slashing damage. Double-Bladed Scimitar vs. Creature:10 vs. AC. Hit:10 slashing damage. (Added a Divine Smite: 13 radiant damage, plus 2 extra if it counts as an undead or fiend.)
Need a STR ST vs 10 or suffer 4 damage and be pushed 10 ft away. No issue about the movement for you have enough to reach the creature.
Are you sure you want to cast the spell on Moravasti? He is uncounscious near the creature.
The first attack against the creature is deflected by one of its blade, but the elf spins over his leg and crouchs a little bit and its glowing with holy power blade stabs the creature i its abdomen.
The scream in their heads nearly stun all of them, and the creature, for the first time, recoil in pain. It seems that the wound inflicted by the paladin had made him suffer.

Anatol swears under his breath.
Aloud he creams to his friends .. "Hit it with Settari crystal."
Without waiting for an answer he takes his spell book and goes to the appropriate spell. Shuddering he rips a page from it and starts to read.
(In effect Anatol took a spell from his spell book and turned it into a scroll. it will disappear from his spell=book but since he didn't memorize that one he will be able to cast it. )
Anatol Casts lightning bolt making sure that no one is in the path of the spell. Dam 18 Dex 14 or half
Anatol has to move to H4 to avoid hitting anyone with the spell
Anatol moves ahead as he rips off the page from his priced spellbook Electricity cracks around the wizard's handas as he cast the spell imbued on the page, and he sees the intricate runes dissapearing in the paper as he pronounce it.
The creature sees the incoming lightining and somehow curls around itself with its centipede like body and legs and it manages to avoid most of the lightining magic that pass over it, hitting the barrel where the old man was standing and making it literraly explode in hundreds of little, charred splinters and water.
The creature shrieks in the minds of all of them using his deadly weapons as it jumps to avoid the spell to cut all the enemies it has around. (Try to imagine a spiderman-like jump avoiding the lighting and spining and cutting at the same time )
1 attack against Jorunn:
Attack: 18 Damage: 14 plus 10
1 attack against Vallineral
Attack: 24 Damage: 13 plus 12
1 attack against each guard
Attack: 21 Damage: 12 plus 11
Attack: 9 Damage: 15 plus 14
The great goliath manages to pary the attack with her shield, the agile elf isn't so lucky and is caught off-guard by the creature sudden movement. A deep slash in his back makes him shiver in pain but the images of death, decay and suffering that fills his mind are even worse.
On of the guards is cutted almost in half by the creature's attack, but the other is able to jump away just in time to avoid the same fate of his comrade.
Vallineral's shield is shattered by the strikes of this beast. (Vallineral: 22/51 HP)
(I think Val can get to Mora without provoking an OA.)
Vallineral steps around the beast, then removes one hand from his weapon, the palm glowing with divine light. "This beast will not claim a life today. Not while I live." He claims, using his Lay On Hands to give Moravasti 5 hit points.
"What in the hells are Settari Crystals?!" Jorunn shouts out over the crackling burst of the lightning bolt even as she maneuvers to better get the creature's attention. She then attempts to lay into it with a barrage of four swift but brutal strikes from her axe.
Action: Attack(2) Vs. Creature
Attack 1:12Damage:8 Slashing + 3(Brute Force)
Attack 2:19Damage:11 Slashing + 4(Brute Force)
Bonus Action: Action Surge for second Attack Action Vs. Creature
Attack 3:8Damage:8 Slashing + 2(Brute Force)
Attack 4:13Damage:10 Slashing + 1(Brute Force)
Movement: Minor repositioning to get creature's attention, no more than 5-10 feet.
Damage Totals: (13), (12), (12), and (13), although I think the first two attacks (and possibly the third) miss.
Seeing her companion sent to the ground so quickly by this creature puts Jorunn on high alert, her well-honed battle instincts kicking in as she focuses on drawing this thing's attention away from others to mitigate the harm it can and then taking it down as quickly as possible.
She maneuvers amidst the various other combatants to find a good opening, and once she finds it goes immediately on the offensive. The creature parries her first two attacks, but doing so puts it off guard and even more vulnerable. Capitalizing on this, Jorunn bull rushes it to the ground with her shield (Attack 3 with narrative flavor) before quickly spinning around to bring her axe in a downward arc to cleave through its skull (Attack 4).
Quickly backing away with her shield raised once again, it takes several long seconds and several deep but controlled breaths for her to process that it is no longer moving.
Not only Jorunn, but the rest of the party breathes heavily for a few seconds, looking to each other, as the monk regains his counsciosness and the surviving guard looks at the dead corpse of his comrade and friend.
The clinging sound of armor and weaponry preceeds the coming of more guards that relax a little bit seeing that the creature has been dealt.
" Sir, it was horrible.. the creature came out of the mouth of Old Tranyer, and started to kill people. We tried to stop it, but... " he looks to his dead friend "... they helped us "
"It's ok son " says a seasoned captain of the guard that is in his mid fifty, hair cut short. He wears a chain mail instead the usual leather armor of the guard. He motion so a couple of guards walk away the surviving one, who thanks you once more.
"You were part of the guards that came with guard, weren't you? " he asks to the party. " Well it seems that we have to thank you again.. " he says.
