Cratol Ames when he hears Mari call out to him. He will make sure to work with her to attack a enemy while keeping that enemy between the two of them to attack from opposite sides.
As you get a bit closer, you get a better look at the apparently sacrificed figures. They all appear to be dwarves of varying age, including a few young children, several are wearing what was once quality clothing, others simple garments suitable for wearing underneath armor.
Mari, Cratol, and Poljen all attack the nearest Hezrou, landing several strikes on the froglike demon. Its stench is unbelievable, enough to make anyone gag. The other two hop closer, and begin their own attacks, lashing out with tooth and claw. Lawrence casts his spell, catching two of the hezrou in its area.
Lia puts an arrow in the back of one cultist, and another falls to Velon's hammer as he charges in
Silas soars overhead, bathing the area in fire, a large number of cultists are caught up in the blaze, several expiring on the spot.
The Balor is slowly approaching, still grinning, it seems to be savoring the anticipation of battle. The serpentine woman on the other hand is rushing forward to meet Velon, her multitude of weapons flashing out to strike at the paladin, several of them landing home. One of her strikes land on his steed as well, and it begins to dissipate.
Several of the cultists finally manage to rally, wielding a variety of weapons, although few seem to be seasoned fighters. One of them in robes casts a spell, enveloping several among the blaze. A few arrows fly out, one of them catching Lia, another hitting Cratol. Several try to strike at Velon, but they have considerably less luck than the demon before him in spite of his compromised position.
Mari, Cratol, and Poljen all need to make DC 14 Constitution saves, or suffer the poisoned condition during their next turn. This will be true for anyone that starts a turn next to one of these buggers. Upon passing a save, you'll be immune to the stench for 24 hours. In addition, all three of them need to make a separate Wisdom save, DC 15, or be slowed (-2 reflex+AC, can take action or bonus action but not both, no more than 1 attack per turn, base speed halved. The save can be repeated to end the effect at the end of each turn.)

After attacking the frog like thing Cratol is able to shake off the effects of the spell (rolled a 10 so with his +5 that is 15).
Mari hacks as the poison affects her. She tries to strike out quickly and end this menace but she feels as if she is moving through quicksand. A worried look creases her brow as her main advantage has been negated. Her sword moves as if in slow motion towards the Herzou.
Lia curses under her breath as she sees Velon being pummeled by the newcomer. She races towards him and when she gets within range holds her white bracelet aloft. It glows for a moment before Velon feels wrapped in the warmth.
OOC: Lia moves within range to use her bracelet to add 4 to his AC. She will try to keep Velon between her and his opponent for now.

Velon sees one of the cultists casting spells and doing a number on his team, so he signals his mount to move to the caster. Fending off further attacks with his shield he lets the magical mount bring him in close so he can try to take them out, or at least disrupt their spellcasting.
(per recent discussion with Gknight and Daishain I gather the mount can disengage on its own for itself and Velon so I'm choosing that option. If not I'll use a misty step, so please let me know if I need to mark off a spell slot for that.)

Lia relaxes as Velon moves away. She will move up along with him to keep bolstering his defenses. She takes careful aim with her bow again and looses another arrow at any cultist showing signs of magical ability.

Lia follows him, using her charm to shield her lover, but so does the serpentine woman, with notably different aims. With the Slow spell suddenly disrupted, Mari, Poljen, and Cratol hack down one of the Hezrou, it falls with a choking croak. Its companions pile on, striking out at the others.
The cultists for their part seem mostly concerned with escaping Lawrence's spell and getting away from the dragon that had suddenly appeared. As the flames clear, far more bodies lie smoking on the ground than there are moving about.

Balor hasn't done anything to Lia yet, the teleport was its action.

It raises its sword, apparently intent on cutting down the elven cleric. The other two fire their bows at Velon, but the Paladin's Shielding spell deflects the one missile that came close. The Marilith has more luck, with one of her swords biting into Velon's arm.
Between the three fighters engaged with the Hezrou, another of the froglike demons fall, flopping down to the floor. The last one goes into something of a frenzy, clawing and biting at Mari, scoring several hits in succession.
For context on what everyone else may or may not have seen, Silas flew over head of the others in the group to where Lia currently is on the map, briefly landing next to Lawrence, and then used a spell to swap places with her.

The Marilith hisses with frustration as Velon slips out of her coils as if he'd been thoroughly greased, and then with pain as she is struck by the paladin's fireball. The pair of cultists flanking her expire as well.
Seeing the way things are going, one of the last cultists drops the spear he'd been holding and makes a break for it, running north towards one of the cavern's exits.
Velon takes 19 damage. Mari 32.
OOC - Lawrance moves last, so this may change. Counterspell any major spells, Shield if needed with the Dodge, Absorb Magic if needed. Arcane Ward to protect Velon from any new damage up to 28pts.
Riding his dark horse and instructing it to dodge any attackers, Lawrance heads near to where the newly summoned demon and Velon are battling. Pulling forth his energies and affinity with the Abjurational magics he controls, he attempts to dispel the Marilith, sending it back to the evil realms it was called from.
