Velon replies "nope, didn't break" to Poljen, adding "me neither, but it's very handy" when the barbarian says he'll never understand magic. He is a bit surprised when the wizard reports no magic to be found on the dolls.
Moving down the hidden passage the paladin finds another door and promptly and aggressively opens it without checking a thing because he fears dying of old age in this frozen place more than anything else now. "Let's move, it feels like we've been in here for three or four months..."
A bit startled at the thought, Lawrance queries his familiar through the planes:

Murtle looks up at Perry and begins slowly shuffling around. She is sniffing for more food.
Lia looks with worry etched on her face as Velon just yanks open the door. She has her bow ready as she half expects something terrible to happen again.
Velon yanks the door open. Nothing happens right away, but the space beyond is steeped in shadow that even those with eyes used to darkness cannot see through. The doorway seems to eat up the light from your torches.
Sune's light moves forward, you can still see it ahead when it crosses the threshhold, but its light illuminates nothing else.

Perry walks in the unnecessarily dark room and looks around with a disgusted face. "Stupid Dr. Freeze with his stupid magical darkness and stupid cold castle and dolls and traps and aboleth goop. I'm SICK of this place you guys. This has been a very traumatic experience for everyone, especially poor Murtle."
He swings the mandolin around to the front, and strums once loudly, "GO AWAY STUPID DARK!"
Cratol follows along with the group a bit amused at Poljen and the dolls but he keeps that to himself as he still thinks the dolls a bit creepy too. He keeps watch behind the group still wanting to make sure nothing sneaks up upon them.
Rolled a 3 and a 9 so that is a 10 and 16 for perception.
The darkness resists Perry's attempts at first, but on the second attempt, recoil and disperses, revealing multiple figures waiting for you in the room. The flesh golem encountered before, a handful of shadows, the bone swarm that tried to kidnap Lawrance, and dozens of skeletons are all crowded into this space along with the skeleton of a young white dragon. In the corner is yet another porcelain doll. Unlike the others however, this one seems to be animated, and carries a small poignard.
The voice intones from somewhere. "The data you have provided is of great interest. Thank you for that much at least. I'll be sure to make good use of your corpses."
Sune's light can be seen across the room, hovering near what appears to be a massive purple crystal embedded in the wall.
Initiatives and actions please, they are not interested in negotiating.
Poignard is a long and narrow knife made to be thrust through the weakpoints of armor.
Murtle moves with a sudden spurt of speed. She is pleased to finally be able to get back at some of her enemies. Her shell slams into skeletons as she charges into the midst of them snapping at them.
Lia surveys the room as the darkness dissipates. Seeing the light of her fire haired goddess next to the purple crystal makes her heart sing. Speaking through the link she says, " Sune has led us here. The crystal is the link. We must destroy it. Fear not these enemies. My goddess fights for us. "
She beams as the small space is filled with her enemies. Lia feels as if she is bursting with the divine power of Sune. Nothing can stop them now. She grabs her broom and jumps astride. Lia will fly just out of reach of the enemies below. When she gets as close to the center of the room as possible she holds her amulet up high. " The power of Sune is here now. Depart!! " Her face glows as a wave of divine light splashes from her and across most of the room. Lia burns inside as she has never released power of this magnitude before.
She uses her channel divinity to turn undead. It will destroy any undead of cr2 or less that fail the will save. Her spell save is 16. Greater than cr2 will flee if they fail the save. Lia has AC 15 and cloak of displacement active now.
As Lia flies into the room filled with enemies, Poljen grins softly. He glances at Velon and says, "So it begins. And ends! HYAH!" Once Lia attempts her spell, he cries out and moves forward to engage the enemy.
Perry smirks and his eyes sparkle as he combs his right hand through his luxurious hair as the magical darkness dissipates. His smile quickly turns to panic however as he sees Lia fly right into the middle of the undead horde on her broom. The tiefling immediately flies up into the air to get a good view of both Lia and the battlefield then begins radiating a golden glow like a beautiful beacon of sunshine. He calls out to Lia, “Hurry and get out of there, Lia! We need you safe more than anyone else!”
Velon and Lawrance also begin glowing as they feel the magic of his inspiring light surround them too.
Next, he strums a loud discordant note that echoes throughout the chamber. Time seems to stand still for a brief moment. Suddenly, space itself begins to rip and tear at its seams as the weave warps and bends into the shape of a large translucent purple sphere that engulfs several of the skeletal enemies. Their skulls begin to crack and break as an immense amount of pain wracks the lot of them.
Perry initiative/w 1: 2d20kh1 (2, 13) + 4 Total: 17 Rolled with Advantage
First, Perry is flying up roughly 15 feet into the air if possible. Then, as a bonus action, Perry is using Mantle of Inspiration on himself, Lia, Lawrance, and Velon. Each of you gain 11 temporary hitpoints, advantage on your next saving throw, and AoO-free movement as a reaction if you choose to use it.
For his action, Perry is casting the spell Synaptic Static to hit as many targets as possible while preferably avoiding Lia. Hopefully Lia uses her reaction movement from mantle to immediately leave before he casts the spell giving him an easier time with AoE placement. Daishain, please use DM discretion on the best placement for this. It is a 20 ft. radius sphere. The debuff is amazing on the bigger targets, but clearing out the little guys is important as well. I am cool with however you would place it as Perry in this situation.
Finally, as a reaction, Perry will ready the spell Shield to protect himself if they get past his 20 AC. That bumps him to 25 AC for the round if needed. This is mostly to try and preserve concentration on Murtle's Polymorph.

Seeing the foes arrayed against them, Lawrance is surprised by the gathering, a bit nonplussed. Gathering his wits as the aura of energy descends over him from Perry, he still is unprepared for the sudden blast of cold thatbroils through the doorway! His magic surges up in defense, the stores energies in his ring soaking up the damage and deflecting some of it. As the blast is followed by the familiar swarm of white bones, Lawrance feels his paltry protections torn once again and his body actually receives bloody scratches and gouges.

Morgaine, still holding the crate of dolls is not sure what she can do to the room full of enemies; but she wants to help The Silver Blaze as much as possible. " Should I use the dolls in the crate as "missiles" and throw them at the enemy? Lay down the crate and go help destroy the crystal? " she asks over the mental link.
“Oh this should be fun!” Velon grins back at Poljen. “Yeah even I know that smashing that crystal over ther is the obvious thing to do. What could go wrong?”
Velon takes a moment to call upon the power of the dragons as he begins to glow with gold light once again. The spiritual gold dragon head suddenly erupts from the ceiling and breaths fire down upon the party’s undead enemies.
OOC
lvl 4 fireball for 28 damage
please use DM discretion on fireball placement, whether it be cleaning up numerous skeletons and shadows left or trying to get the bone swarm and the flesh golem together. Would like to avoid friendly fire and hitting anything that succumb to mass suggestion.
Morgaine snaps off several shots with her bow as Lia moves in. Sune's light blossoms in the middle of the room, causing chaos to ensue as several of the foe flee the area, or are destroyed outright. This proves somewhat problematic as the flesh golem tramples several people in its attempt to flee the room.
Cratol, and Poljen team up to start tearing the flesh golem apart as Perry launches another assault on those remaining in the room. Another skeleton falls under this psionic assault, and the skeletal dragon seems to be affected but mostly unfazed. It sets up in front of the door and breathes a blast of exceptionally cold air in your direction, causing ice to form on most of the party. The bone swarm rolls through the door, managing to envelop Lawrance and Lia as it does so.
The few remaining skeletons move up, they target Velon with sword and bow, but are unable to get past the paladin's shield. The doll meanwhile dashes in between Velon's legs, and then with a girlish yet somehow horrifying giggle, leaps onto Morgaine's back, stabbing with the poignard viciously. Two creatures that had been hidden behind the horde move up as well, dessicated corpses wearing priest's garments. Velon can feel an aura pulsing from them, it actually seems to dim his own light by a little. One of them rakes its claws across Velon, leaving shallow gashes that burn more than they should.
Poljen, Velon, Morgaine, and Cratol take 4, 5, 6, and 4 bludgeoning damage each from being trampled
Perry, Morgaine, Velon, Lia, and Lawrance need to make DC 15 constitution saves, on a fail they take 42 cold damage, on a pass its reduced to 21.
Morgaine takes another 9 damage from the doll's attack.
Lawrance and Lia take 21 and 22 damage from the bone swarm's embrace.
Velon takes 5 damage from the unknown undead, and must make another Con save.
In the interest of keeping what pathetic scraps of my sanity I still have intact, monsters are all going on one initiative. Velon Lawrance and Murtle have not yet had their round one actions go off, they can keep them or adjust as they wish. Murtle cannot get past the flesh golem at the moment, so I'd suggest just retargeting her bite to that target. Adjusted initiative order: Murtle, Lawrance, Velon, Morgaine, Lia, Cratol, Perry, Poljen, Monsters.
Poljen is surprised when many of the enemy charges out the door, terrorized by the cleric of Sune. He immediately lays into the largest thing near by, which is his old friend the Flesh Golem. Cratol is at his side as they begin trying to finish their earlier fight with it, glad for the giant turtle's assistance.
Continuing to attack FG. I will roll w/Adv again. Reckless if needed, but if the flanking from Murtle gives it save the Reckless so the FG does not get Adv in return.
Wrapped inside the swarm, Lawrance pulls deeper from the same realm of magic and pulls out his dagger to activate the attack! Disappearing and reappearing rapidly throughout the battlefield, sudden explosions of focused force energy strike at a bevy of foes, shattering and injuring.
OOC - Steel Wind Strike the following targets in order: Bone Swarm, Flesh Golem, Dragon Skelly, Unknown #1, Unknown #2, Crystal. The first attack gets a bonus d6 cold damage. Then end up within 5 feet behind the Flesh Golem and Far Step further down the hall, onto Myrtle's back.
