Booming Blade as reaction from bone swarm moving on it's previous turn:
BB Attack (flank?): 30
Weapon damage: 11
Fire crystal damage: 3
BB damage: 12
Movement penalty damage: 21
Still moving his otherwise lumbering form rapidly due to arcane enhancements Velon takes a fraction of a second to smile at Lia, kiss her on the cheek and say "keep them safe, will you?" Before she can even react he is gone, dashing towards the doorway where the bone swarm and skeletal dragon are, drinking a cold resist potion along the way. As he reaches both foes the half-sorcerer looks at the ugly visage of the dragon up close and comments "yeesh" out of disgust before teleporting to ten feet or so beyond it and continuing to run right for the crystal with hasted speed. As he reaches his destination Velon winds up with his hammer and strikes the crystal twice, hoping to end the fun that is doctor freeze's torment.
Perry misses as the bone swarm moves away, but Velon deals a serious blow, causing a sizeable amount of bone fragments to go flying off of the pile and remain still. Lawrance joins them and hits it yet again with a thin stream of fire.
Cratol, Poljen, and Mari continue their assault on the flesh golem, which gives out a final groan before collapsing in between them. They don't have long to celebrate though, as the bone swarm, still munching on Morgaine, comes up from behind them, attempting to sweep both up into its embrace. Cratol dances away, but Poljen slips on some of some of the fluids that had spilled out of the golem, and gets picked up
Velon bypasses the swarm and the dragon, running up to strike at the crystal. A crack forms in its surface. The voice states, "Hmph, that is enough of that! Just accept your fate." A thin green ray darts out of the crystal. The paladin tries to avoid it, but it hits him in the chest. The pain is excruciating, as if his very self was being unmade. But a moment later, it passes, and Velon is still standing. But not for long. A moment later, and the dead dragon lumbers up behind him, snapping the paladin up in its jaws and shaking him like a rag doll before flinging the unconscious man into a corner.
Morgaine and Poljen take 21 and 23 damage each from the swarm. Velon failed his dex save and takes 66 force damage from the spell, and then another 23 from the dragon's bite. If Velon's hp counter is up to date, he's at 0 at that point. One additional claw attack hit (for 17 in case it matters), so he's starting off with one failed death save. Yes, I know Perry and Lawrance had counterspells ready, but they did not have line of sight on this.

"Lia, can you move the cube forward a bit? We can sandwich this stupid swarm and I'll kill it," he says to the cleric. "Is Velon okay? I thought I heard a *herk* type noise back there."
Perry strikes once more at the swarm, his blade resonating once more.
Booming Blade Attack /w Adv: 21, 21
Scimitar Damage: 9 slashing, 6 acid
Booming Blade Damage: 12 thunder
Booming Blade Movement Penalty Damage: 11 thunder
EDIT: If the swarm is banished then Perrymoto will go in the room 10 feet or so, call the dragon a bony koi fish, then cast Healing Kanji on Velon.
Vicious Mockery (DC18 WIS): 9 and disadvantage on its next attack roll. Don't forget it might still have a -1d6 due to Synaptic Static debuff.
Poljen growls as the bone swarm envelops him. He thinks about trying to break free, or helping Morgaine to get out, but decides that doing as much damage, as quickly as possible to the thing is more important.
Lia cries out in terror as she can feel Velon being horribly hurt and slipping away. " Velon is dying. We need to get in there now. " She moves up a short ways and holds her holy amulet up high again. " Stand not in our way oh child of darkness. " She screams out , " Depart in the name of Sune." Her voice is filled with rage and fear. Blinding flashes out of her amulet and strikes the bone swarm head on.
Murtle tries to get closer but is blocked by her friends.
Lia casts banishment on the bone swarm. Charisma DC is 16. She moved up to M5. That pins the bone swarm against her friends on the other side of it makes the save. This will cause her to lose concentration on beacon of hope but we are desperate here.
Hearing Velon's cry of pain echo through both the link and the area, Lawrance thinks fiercely for a moment. With another *snap!* of displaced air, Lawrance disappears from beside his friends and appears inside the room, between the dangerous monsters. Moving forward a bit and brandishing his wand, he empties it's powers almost completely, sending a cloud of force bolts into the crystal! %I'm in the room. Velon's down! I'm going to shoot the crystal. Here's hoping it DOES explode against that boney dragon that's right beside it!%
Keeping Counterspell ready, of course.
Far Step to O11, move to Q7 and fire Wand of MM 6 charges = 8 missiles. 34
He then drops the almost expended wand and draws his dagger again.
“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Lawrance slips into the room, unleashing a torrent of magical bolts that smash into the crystal. The others act to keep pounding on the bone swarm. It manages to shake off Lia's banishment effect, but it also apparently decides its current position is untenable, and unceremoniously dumps Morgaine and Poljen onto the floor as it retreats through the door and back into the room with the crystal.
The skeletal dragon on the other hand moves forward, tearing the vulnerable wizard to shreds, leaving him bleeding and on the floor.
The crystal emits another spell, a bolt of dark energy striking Velon as he lies in the corner of the room. Lia's stone goes dead as the paladin expires.
Lawrance took two hits and a crit for a whopping 78 damage and is down. Bone Swarm took the withdraw action, so no AOOs. Perry did not have LOS on the spell. It is noteworthy that the boneswarm looks to be in terrible shape at this point, and has lost well over half of its initial bulk.
Lia is about to say something to Perry when her shared stone goes dead. She almost falls to her knees in agony. A heartbreaking cry of anguish escapes her lips. " No....no....no.........My love is.......dead. " Tears pour down her face. Memories of her time with Velon race through her mind as time seems to stand still. This can't end like this. It just can't. Sune places a reminder in her mind that she can resurrect him but they need to win this battle first.
With tears still running down her face she faces their dire situation. She thinks " I will let nothing stand in the way of Velon's return Nothing. " She staggers forward to the doorway. The sight of Velon's crumpled up body in the corner almost breaks her mentally. She steels herself to do what must be done for now. Seeing Lawrance down as well she scowls. Holding her amulet high, she gestures almost angrily towards her friends. Bolts of light hit Lawrance , Poljen and bringing healing help to them. She then staggers back to her previous spot. Speaking via the link she says, " It's kill or be killed now. We will work together or die. Concentrate the attacks on the bone swarm. it is almost down. I think the crystal will only attack if it is attacked. Leave it for last. Destroy that damn bone swarm. " She tries to hold back sobs for now as she is in agony.
Murtle feels pain as she senses Lia's anguish. She moves hastily forward and almost makes it to the doorway.
She cast mass cure wounds at level 5. Each player will receive 24 hitpoints.
Poljen considers darting past the skeleton and bone swarm, making to attack the crystal, in hopes of ending the fight. But Lia gives him an order, and he decides to follow it. He charges up and once again lays into the bone swarm.
Poljen has enough movement to reach T-7, maybe allowing flanking for someone next round. Reckless...

Perry is unaware of Velon's death until he sees Lia's heartbreaking reaction. At first, an overwhelming sense of rage wells up inside him. His eyes begin changing to that ominous, undead-hating black that has risen within him from time to time.
But something breaks through to him.
Perhaps it is the light of Lia and Sune, but something reminds him of all the good times that he has had with Velon. He begins thinking back to when he and Velon first met. Velon, along with Lia, was one of the first members of the Silver Blaze who truly supported and trusted Perry. They had many good times together, including playing Lairs and Lizards, the invention of the Velon balloon, and slaying evil monsters together. He recalls the time when he tried to play as a fortune teller in the castle dining area and how Velon was the first one to play along which paved the way for the others to try their luck. If anyone here was truly his friend, it would be none other than Velon Rodaan, hero, leader, and champion of the Silver Blaze.
Suddenly, his eyes revert back to their normal golden color, this time with tears in them. He wipes them away and focuses on the task at hand, getting his friends out alive.
"We'll save him, Lia! No one else dies here today!" Perry declares loudly.
Keeping his back against the wall and peering around the corner to see the crystal, Perry sheathes his blade and clears his throat. He strums his fingers through the air as if manipulating the weave like and instrument and unleashes a loud note with his voice focused on the crystal itself, attempting to disrupt the crystal's magical connection to this area.
He readies himself in case it fails and prepares to try and stop any magic that may come from it.
Dispel Magic as an action. Counterspell as a reaction. Perry is using the wall near the door as cover and peering in. The room itself to the crystal is exactly 60 feet, so I'm thinking this within range from the position I will mark on the map.
Cratol hears Lia wanting the bone swarm down so he again focuses his energy into attacking the bone swarm. HE attacks it once again moving with it to keep it within melee range.
Attack rolls: 14, 8 are both at +10 so that is 24 and 18 to hit 12 and 15 are at +9 so that is 21 and 24 to hit.
Damage rolls 2 and 1 are at +6 so that is 8 and 7 damage, the 2 and 3 are at +5 so that is 7 and 8 more damage. if all attacks land that is a total of 30 damage to the swarm.
Velon starts moving again, twitching and writhing as he begins to woodenly stand. The voice states, "You've caused far too much damage, I'll have to make use of all of you restoring what you've destroyed. Starting with..." The voice cuts off, and the light from the crystal fades as Perry casts a spell to temporarily disrupt the connection. Velon's body finishes standing, and just stays there, unmoving.
Poljen, Cratol, and Morgaine move up and lay into the bone swarm yet again. It shudders and loses cohesion, fragments of bone spilling everywhere until it finally collapses into a loose pile of detritus.
The skeletal dragon for its part rears back and breathes a plume of cold all over those nearby.
Lawrance, Poljen, Cratol, and Morgaine need to make DC 15 Con saves for half of 51 cold damage.
The relief at defeating the bone swarm is momentary for Poljen as he first sees Velon on his feet, but held in place, and as the skeletal dragon unleashes his frozen breath. The barbarian snarls, "Glazhael's was much more ferocious, bastard!" He surges forward and does what he can to start chopping the thing to splinters.
Lawrance awakens from the blackness of blessed unconsciousness, his last memory of the feeling of yet another dragon's claw deep inside his stomach. *I've got to stop that bad habit.* He thinks to himself as he starts trying to rise to his feet, opening his eyes just as a shouted warning from Aisling rings through his mind -Look out, the dragon's still there!!- His eyes barely open before the wash of freezing air burns into his wounds, crystallizing the blood droplets and sending him back into darkness.
“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Cratol moves up to fight the bone dragon and is hit with its icey breath. Cratol tried to avoid it but was a bit too slow but he still makes it to the dragon to deal damage to it. He again focuses his energy into attacks on the dragon.
Constitution save: Rolled a 12 +1 is only 13
Attacks rolled a 5 and 16 for the +10 so 15 and 26 Rolled 9 and 1 so last attack misses but the 9 +9 is a 18
Damage rolled a 7 and 3 at +6 so 13 and 9 Rolled a 6 with a +5 so 11 total damage if all three attacks hit was 30 damage.
Morgiane feels the healing power go through her and gives her strength to unleash the fury into the bone swarm. Once done she feels them attack her once again bring her down and then leaving her be where she was. She feels a loss within her but she is not sure as to why. She lays there briefly then gets up once again and assets the situation before making another move.
OoC rolled for her CON save : Result: 1d20 (20) didn't even add the +9 for it..lol. Will remember to add the electric DMG the next time she uses the Longsword. For now it is in her quiver.
