You suddenly feel freezing cold. You hear a cacophony of soft whispers and slurping noises as you are engulfed in this gateway to the dark between the stars, a region infested with unknown horrors. No light, magical or otherwise, can illuminate the area, and you are fully blinded while inside. The void creates a warp in the fabric of space, and the area is considered difficult terrain.
I will try to swing my axe at where I last saw him, slowly growing frustrated and into angry, though not yet raging.

Two of the Fjol trolls cast produce flame and run towards the black sphere in an attempt to aid Thokein... But as soon as their lights pass through the sphere they are doused by the magical darkness...
(Using his Bonus Action) Gobber casts Hunter's Mark on the necromancer. "I've got my sights on ya now!"
Gobber uses his short-sword to take a stab at the enemy.

Hunters mark stimulates that you must be able to see the creature you are targeting.. as the necromancer cast hunger of hadar you can no longer see him (or Thokein).. so your spell misses.
You stab into the otherworldly darkness created by the necromancer’s spell. Unfortunately your blade misses its mark. As you pull your hand back out you feel the slimy tendrils grab for you...
