It rushes in towards Jooor and Mordecai (who make take his readied action after this). The spikes it protruded seem to now seep with some acid as it strikes at the pair.

Yolov steps a little further off to the side, did a few more last minute calculations, and said in sequence. "Angulus. Locked. Trajectoriam. Locked. Ratio. Locked." He tosses the flask into the air, and with a firmly stated," Accelerō!"The flask of oil freezes in mid-air for a moment, and then in a sudden burst of movement goes flying towards the spawn. If Yolov's calculations proved right, the makeshift Catapult would shatter upon impact, releasing its contents all over it.
DC 13 - Dexterity Saving Throw. If failed, both object and creature take: 14 bludgeoning damage. Once covered in oil, the next Fire based damage it suffers will deal an addition 5 points of fire damage.

Mordecai's readied swing cleaves into the chaos spawn, causing some of it to slice open revealing there doesn't appear to be much in the way of innards. (Chaos Spawn: 14 damage)
Jooor's weapon thrums with thunderous energy, but it seems to deflect away from the spines of the chaos beast, the acid seemingly absorbing the reverberations.
Mordecai's second swing appears to make contact with the beast, but its silvery body appears to have solidified in anticipation, preventing the cleave to cut through.
Vax unleashes a fire bolt into the creature, causing more of it to become molten. (Chaos Spawn:19 damage.)
Yolov catapults the flask of oil at high speed, hoping for it to strike true and cover the spawn in oil. Keegik hurls a mote of flame at the monster, striking it as it appears to melt some of the spikes as they glow red-hot. (Chaos Spawn: 21 damage.)

Coseris not being the best in combat winces as his first attack completely misses the target. As the chaos spawn draws close to Joor and Mordecai and attacks he unleashes another fire bolt as soon as he lets the spell release from his hand, he opens his spell book and starts flipping pages looking for another spell to use.

Warx delights in the sizzling of the damage his Acid attack does, then gets a puzzled look on his face when he sees the acid dripping from the spikes on the creature.
'Maybe its in my best interest to not help damage others in the circle...for now.'he thinks.
Switching tactics, Warx moves in a circular route to the side of the creature using the others to distract it as he makes a flanking attack with his whip. Warx moves to within 10' of it, uncoils his whip, and snaps off an attack.
Whip Attack (with Advantage assuming we are using the "Flanking" rule): Attack: 22 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Corseris hurls another mote of fire, which the chaos spawn once again avoids.
Warx moves around and begins to unleash the agile attacks with his whip, lashing a couple of blows into the back of the blob. (Chaos Spawn: 23 damage.)
Coseris after looking through his spellbook shuts it and puts it away, shaking his head taking a deep breath pulls his light crossbow from his hip, with both hands steadies his aim and with another deep breath pulls the trigger, shooting a bolt at the spawn.

**EDIT** Forget this turn, Just realized it's not a new round of combat. If it goes into a thrid round use this turn in that place.
Valentine keeps to herself while looking at this fight, figuring out what to do when the ooze is slain , she simply just shrugs and look around but standing still. Being the one on out look could be the one keeping the group safe as her drow ancestors told her as she hum to herself a child song.
