Which then the Vrock looks at him, flies up, and makes his full attack!

7 if it hits 14 piercing damage with it's beak.

13 if it hits 12 slashing damage with it's talons.

Bocat is still stunned. 

Quaf will Shield the talon attack. No fiend will touch his feathers!

Kat looks around for a place they can perhaps hide for an hour or so

If everyone remembers correctly, Quaf has an item where all of you can rest inside of it quite safely. Though its uses are a little limited, it could come in handy. 

You can hear fires burning all around you. The smells in this realm are disgusting, the ground feels greasy and uneven, and the air has a thick, yellowish color to it. Yellow and orange lightning crackles across the sky, and the wind that blows feels warm and uncomfortable. 

Hacti ande Bocat starts patrolling the area and comes back within a few minutes. 

"I think we are safe from any other demons coming forth. If they were around, we would have been able to track them. So, what's the plan? Quaf? Bree?" He asks the group after explaining that he believes they're alone. 

Kat looks around and sits down to rest

"If we all sit with our backs together we can keep an eye out in all directions - that way no one should be able to sneak up on us and then we can get a short rest in before moving out.  I wonder if I should have asked those things if they knew where Faux Etter lived before I killed them......or maybe there's like a Demon Phone book that we can look up his address in....hmm but then we'd have to know his real name.....and if we knew that we could just summon him like 'POOF'" Kat wiggles his fingers as if he's casting a spell.

"Yes, Kat, if we all sit with our back together we can keep an eye out in all direction, except the top. Let's save the power of the Rod for later, we must find a better spot to rest and allow Bree to go back to the future. I mean, the past."

(OOC - yeah my plan was to find a place to take a short rest - which is an hour - so firehawn can attune, and I can regain my Ki - and if anyone needs to spend hit dice healing up)
