If all are in agreement, then I will cast Alarm as a ritual on the cave entrance before we back off. I will designate it will only be set off by humanoid creatures.
OCC: The alarm should let us know if they try to come out that entrance, but we still need to stay on guard. Unless they get an itch an they have someone who can detect and dispel magic.
Since it only takes an hour to do that for a short rest, the remainder of the long rest Odo will wait by the entrance, waiting to attack anything that should creep out.
((let me know if I need to roll stealth or perception))
Odo - you don't notice the lone goblin that has snuck up to the entrance of the cave. Kai - your alarm sounds. ((Is the alarm audible or only a mental ping to you?))
Kai - your alarm awakens you and the rest of the camp, while simultaneously giving the creeping goblin a near heart attack. Odo - at the sound of the alarm, you whip around and see the lone goblin frozen in fear.
Kyanite says, "Sounds a fair plan to me.."
