If and when Sen is served a drink, he will drink slowly, observing the room, and listening to the conversations going on around him.

Veryes will also keep one eye on Crush and to the party "We could ask around for a guide. Saying we had heard our friend Anna had found one here and see if that get's us anywhere?"

Usul will reply to Veryes "That's a clever idea, and a good pretense. Let's see if anyone looks like a guide around here."

Veryes: "Cool! Hey Aria, can you keep an eye on us? I mean, I'm probably Anna's size so maybe that will help attract the right kind of attention?" Nudging Usul I get up and say "Let's find a guide"

I need a roll from Crush to try to persuade the bouncer, and what specifically are the rest of you going to do? I need rolls for that as well.

To Veryes Usul adds "We're both small enough to appear to need help. Let's see if we can find us a 'guide'."

Crush persuasion 14

Veryes will nod to Usul "One thing I'm good at is getting attention" she says with a smile as she stands up on the bench to try to get her head at least the same height as the crowd. She then calls out in a clear voice "My friend and I are looking for a guide! We've heard this is the place to find the Greatest Warriors of the Undermountain! Are there any here brave enough to show new adventurers the way?"

Aria nods to Veryes as she concentrates her attention now to what the bard is up to. She slowly drinks her ale and tries to see what if anyone reacts to Veryes question....

(well I'm glad I didn't go with my original plan of just yelling out Anna's name and seeing if anyone reacted, hehe :)

The bouncer looks at Crush and squints, like he's trying to remember. "We have kids trying to sneak in here all the time trying to steal stuff offa these drunks, pain in my ass... I do think I remember your girl, though, trying to convince these bums to help her find all kinds of treasure. Half these guys can't find their ass with a map and a light spell."

For Usul and Veryes, the request for a guide gets several takers - all very drunk, all very sure of themselves, all shouting what their fees are going to be. 

Sen is sitting at the bar, pretending to mind his own business, but is listening to the conversations going on around him, as best as he is able.

Crush would turn his head and nod to the bouncer, leaning back against the wall beside the heavily armed man. Reaching into a leather coin purse, the orc would pull out three coins. "who Anna go with? Who talk to? Crush would ask as he moves his thick green skinned hand towards the hand of the bouncer and tries to slip him the coins. 

Veryes looking a bit worriedly at Aria and Usul and says softly "Maybe too good at getting attention huh?"

I'm guessing that with all the noise I wouldn't be able to hear what Crush and the bouncer are saying. I'd still be keeping an eye on him seeing that he seems to be making some kind of headway.

To the folks clamoring to be the guide "Wow! So many brave men! Thank you for the offers. We've heard that there is one guide who would serve us best. He recently guided a girl named Anna. Is that one of you fine folks?"

quietly back to Veryes Usul says "Definitely a rowdy crowd... if nothing else we can play with these drunk fools" chuckling

Whispering back with a smile "My hands are quick and my pockets are light"

((Can we 'help' each other pick pocket this crowd? You distract and Usul see's what he can grab?~))

Although not quite perceptive in this atmosphere, Aria grows weary of the crowd that Veryes has attracted. While sipping on her ale, she manages to grasp an arrow in her left hand from her quiver underneath the table out of sight. 

The bouncer takes Crush's coins, considering them (how much did he give him? Does Crush even know?) "I had to boot her out of here for her own good, once those..women from next door started coming in, I don't need them trying to get their hooks into her. She was inviting trouble by being in here anyway. First night, she left with a couple of dwarves - the Stonetooth Brothers, I think. Next night she come in asking around for some elf, like some damned high elf would do business in here." He looks over at Sen, considers him for a second, then looks away.

Usul and Veryes, if they want to run some kind of two-person pickpocket job, it's worth a shot. There are a crowd of allegedly hardy adventurers in front of you all but demanding to know how much you can pay them.
