If Veryes is down, and will distract the drunks, Usul will use his help to see what he can 'find'. SLIGHT OF HAND: 26

Veryes is willing to help and distract and will try to settle down the crowd at the same time. Raising her voice again she says "Calm Down Everyone." Looking for the most likely candidate that Usul is headed towards she points to him while trying to stand as tall as possible on the bench "YOU! You look like the best of the bunch. Ive heard there's deadly puzzles to solve while adventuring so I have a test for you before you talk about your rate." Trying to capture as much of the crowds attention as possible "A man asks a merchant... how much is one. The merchant say 1 gold. The man asks, How much is two? The merchant answers 2 gold. The man says I'll take One hundred and twenty three, but he's only charged 3 gold. What is he buying?"

((riddles for drunks in the bar. Nice. Though.. shit... I don't know the answer. I gotta work on my riddling I guess~))

(hehe, yeah. I thought that would be a good way to throw some drunk folks off :) Plus if we were really looking for a guide I'd want to test them some way to prove their worth :) It's a tough riddle. One of my favorites because I couldn't get it. I'm usually pretty good with riddles but that one had me stumped too)

When Sen has finished his first drink, he orders a second.  As the barmaid (barperson?) brings it, he asks in a low voice.  I'm looking for Anna Kelver.  He will study the barmaid's face to see if they react at all to the name Insight: 10 Do you know her?

Usul is able to come away with several coin purses from the crowd, who are first baffled by the the riddle, and then start yelling out guesses, then start shoving each other and arguing over who has the right answer. They're definitely distracted - for now. 

Sen asks the barmaid about Anna, and as far as he can tell, there's no reaction.

(Dang it, I had missed that you had posted about crush! I was waiting for stuff you had already posted)

Crush would nod, listening to the bouncer while watching the crowd... The orc would reach into his bag and pull out two more gold coins (total of 5 now) and slide them to the bouncer. "where stone brothers?... elf?" Crush would ask with a grunt. Making sure not to push the man too much or block his view of the room.

Aria finishes her drink and looks over again to the crowd that has formed by Veryes and is weary of the crowd getting a little more rowdy. She turns her attention over to Crush and is amused by the orc conversing with the security guard. She shakes her head slightly as she wonders to herself.... What has Anna got herself into? Hanging out in places like this... I really hope she isn't in danger.

The bouncer scans the room and says, "The Stonetooth brothers aren't here tonight - who knows where they are. Don't know who the elf was, either. Some high and mighty type. You might want to know - I heard a rumor about some new place, someone trying to open up some kind of elite club or something in the Undermountain - insane if you ask me. I don't know where it is, so don't ask. I just know it's trouble. Maybe the Stonetooth brothers found their way there, it wouldn't surprise me."

Usul has been able to steal 10 gold from the increasingly agitated crowd.

At the bar, someone bumps into Sen trying to push up to the bar. "Hey - make room, you geek." He's a large, well armored human (not Shadrach before anyone asks).

Originally planned to roll 2d12 for the gold steal but screwed up so in the interest of fairness take another 12 gold. 

Trying to gesture Veryes away from the crowd Usul will head back to their table to share their coin. He'll look around for the rest of his group and wait to see what others may have learned.

Veryes is now left alone to face the crowd who wants to know who has the right answer to the riddle. A couple of them are getting very aggressive now.

Just away from the crowd, but looking back at Veryes, Usul will use minor illusion to create the sound of a woman screaming (like in distress), but on the opposite side of Veryes from where the group is, hoping to distract much of the crowd to help Veryes slip away.

Aria hearing the sound of a woman screaming in distress, quickly stands up, pulls out her bow and arrow she already had in her left hand.... lines up a shot in the general direction of where the screaming came from. 

"Thanks, you tell Crush when need help" The orc would say with a nod and a hard slap on the mans shoulder before moving away towards the group. Watching as Usul and Veryes zip past him towards the exit, Crush would approach Aria who has her weapon drawn and place his heavy green hand on her shoulder. "Easy, Crush have Lead... find Stonetooth brother dwarves" The orc would say with a grunt before looking back to the bouncer. "Remember Crush help if need!" He would shout as his head turns between the rowdy crowd and his new heavily armed friend.

Veryes seeing that things are deteriorating quickly hop off the bench and use her naturally small size and stealthiness to sip into the crowd and vanish, headed towards the door. (That was fun Usul. Now hopefully I can get out before the mob eats me up, hehe :)

Aria lowers her bow and cocks her head back to look up at the orc and nods. You all have an interesting way of finding information.

Sorry, sorry.  Sen makes way for the large armoured figure and tries to make himself as small, unremarkable and unthreatening as possible.  At the same time, he's also trying to get a look at this person who just arrived at the bar - did he hear Sen ask about Anna?
