Aria doesn't see anything off about this. Given the circumstances, whatever is in that bag is important to them and they're being just as cautious as the party was.
Aria and Usul would both see the original guard plus three other men, two of them dressed like the guard, the third in robes. They're clearly anxious to get what Sunkx sent them and end this transaction.
Aria will stay in the tree waiting for the group to get close enough to where she could throw the bag down without giving away her position. As she looks at the bag, she just starts to wonder what exactly is inside of it...

Hoard of the Dragon Queen - Jalt Rhogar - Dragonborn Cleric (9)
The group makes it to the generally agreed upon area. Does Aria throw out the bag or try to find a way to examine its contents? Does anyone want to try to find out what these people are doing, or take your pay and get back to the city?
Usul is still watching, hidden, from a distance. Though he's certainly curious about the bag, he wasn't willing to fight Aria to see into it. At this point he's just acting as scout.
Aria yells down to Veryes, careful to remain hidden... "Maybe we should ask them whats so special about this bag or whats inside of it. I've grown curious considering we took the risk smuggling it out of the town. Or maybe a few more gold coins since we did not open or investigate the bag."

The guards all snap their heads towards the sound of Aria's voice. "More gold? What?" The robed man turns to Veryes, growing angry. "What the hell kind of deal do you think you're pulling?"
Sen hears a raven caw, and then from the distance, another respond. The guards are going about their business, questioning people coming into and departing from Waterdeep, occasionally confiscating something they don't like - Sen would notice some scrolls and some flasks were taken - they are clearly worried about something in particular.
"They pay enough" Crush would grunt as he closes the bag full of coins. "All here..." The orc would say with one hand clutching the bag and his other hand on the hilt of his hand axe, just in case.
Aria lowers the backpack down from the tree. The robed man sends one of the guards over to take it - he moves cautiously, trying to assess whether or not the bag is actually some sort of trap. After a few moments, he takes it and unties it from Aria's rope and quickly backs away and rejoins his group. The robed man takes the bag from the guard and sets it on the ground, taking a dagger from the same guard to cut off the attached lock and open the bag. He reaches in with one hand to examine the contents, furrows his brow, and smiles wide for a moment. "Thank you for your service to the people of Waterdeep. I believe our business is concluded?" He nods to the party as if answering his own question. They move to make their retreat from the scene.
Seeing this, and assuming he sees no other guards or thugs or whatever approaching the group, Usul will head towards them group and say "Well that was easy. I wonder what all the fuss was about for that bag... Any idea who those guys are? Ah... and...uh... can I see my share of the coin?" the last sentence said trying to hide his excitement, though probably not succeeding ((general charisma check 12)). This will be the most gold he's ever had at one time.
Just a simple delivery. They didn't give you much info and you guys didn't pry. The payment worked out to 40 gold each IIRC.
Now, Sen:
Awkwardly hovering near the gate to the city, Sen hears those cursed ravens again and becomes increasingly frustrated and paranoid simultaneously. He takes a few steps backwards toward the city and finds a crowd of people milling around, one group waiting for people to return to the city, others just doing some window shopping at some of the nearby shops. Where the two groups blend together, Sen hides in plain sight. There's another caw. He shudders a little.

((Usul will argue that everyone here should get 50 gold, as there are only 4 people who came out to help. Sen wasn't there. Veryes also did get an extra 50 from the bandits, but so far only she and Crush know that))
(yes, I got an extra 50 on delivery so 250 total. I'm fine with splitting it evenly. I'm sorry I haven't been posting much. Been super busy. I would have asked what they were doing out there and if they had more work once the bag was delivered. Ya know, since it was done quickly and professionaly, but if that bird has flown no big deal)
Veryes would thank everyone for doing a good job and decide up the coin, saying that she'll hold Sens share for now. Then asking "Has anyone seen him yet? I hope he's ok."
"So what now? Back to the city for a celebration drink and then keep following the lead on Anna?"
Counting his coin, Usul smiles and says "That was great! We should work with you all more often!" and then replying to Veryes "Sure~ Let's see what new we can learn. But keep your eyes out for more opportunities like this!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The job done, the party makes their way back to Waterdeep, making note to keep an eye out for Sunkx in case there is anymore work that needs to be done. They make it back to the city gate without incident, and meet the stern glare of the guards who saw them go through earlier. Seeing Crush specifically, the guards tell him that there better not be any trouble. They look over the party, and ...
Perception: 13
..do not notice anything that would give them cause to interrogate them again about their business. Everyone is able to pass through without incident (unless Crush wants to start an incident).
You find Sen waiting for you inside the gates, glaring at the ravens; one of them does give off some sort of magical aura, though what specifically Sen isn't able to put his finger on.
Crush is happy with what he finds.

Upon hearing Crush’s reply, Aria lowers the backpack via the rope she has in her kit.
