Grum, who hadn't yet decided whether to head up to the balcony or not, suddenly realises he should've been more decisive as he pulls out his shortswords and rushes to attack the oncoming kobolds, hoping this time to show at least some martial prowess to his new friends, instead of missing nearly everything like last time

Natasha shrugs as she watches Grum pull out his swords to attack the enemy head on. Regardless, she pulls an arrow from her quiver and gets to shooting what she can from a safe distance. Maybe this time she’ll hit something more than once.

Jill realizes that she'll have to wait for Kelric's response when the Kobolds come crashing through the door. Jill brings her sword down on the first one she sees.

Misha charged into the fray and swung her hammer as hard as she could at a kenku because a running bird looked funny to her, and it wanted to meet her warhammer.

KERPLOWEE!

All that could be heard was hearty laughter, but not from the kenku.

Oni tries to keep a decent distance between him and the assault. He targets a wounded kobold that hasn't been touched by Misha or Jill and his crystal sparks with necromantic energy as he casts Toll the Dead.

Kelric

Kelric's arrow flies true, and a kobold drops with an arrow between it's eyes. The horde continues it's mad charge. 

A kobold leaps on Kelric's back, dagger poised to slit his throat. Attack: 8 Damage: 4

Grum

Grum hurls himself into the fray, decapitating a kobold and a kenku with equal ease. 

A blind kenku with a ragged handkerchief tied around it's eyes lashes out at Grum with a shortsword. Attack: 20 Damage: 9

Natasha

Natasha fires her arrow, bringing a kobold to it's knees. A cleric of Torm promptly finishes it off.

A ragged kenku at the back of the oncoming horde unslings a shortbow and fires an arrow at Natasha. Attack: 14 Damage: 8

Jill Moon

The kenku Jill swings at ducks under the blow.

Jill is instantly flanked by two grinning kobolds, who hack at her with rusted daggers. 

Attack: 20 Damage: 4

Misha

Misha's warhammer reduces a kobold's head to a red mess, splattering her with gore.

Oni 

Wisdom ST: 17

The kobold continues to charge, unfazed.

A kobold hurls a basket from the shadows, which shatters at Oni's feet and releases a swarm of centipedes. The centipedes relocate onto Oni's person, covering him with bites. Attack: 13 Damage: 7

The swarm eventually disperses and the centipedes are crushed underfoot by the gathered combatants.

(Damn, why do I only roll crits when I'm DM?)

Disgusted by the swarm of centipedes, Oni swats at the centipedes and steps on the ones he can. Fortunately none penetrate his armor and he is left with small bites on his hands.

"Merde!" Jill was expecting this battle to go south, but not this quickly. She at least expected to get a few licks in before things went pear-shaped. When she saw Grum take a hard blow as well, she realized that it was time "Perhaps we should head towards those trapdoors now. I cannot take another blow like that and I do not think that Grum can either."
