“Vot der’mo..!” Misha explains as her fellow companions were taking severe hits. Covered in kenku blood, it was like war paint. Raising her shield, she tactifully backed up to Jill. “Jeel! I think now time to go down doors of trap! I get ‘Tasha, and I cover your escape! Everyone go!!”
Misha ran over to Natasha, almost carrying her with one hand, “Time to go, tsvetok!” Making sure not to miss anyone, she will follow the others last in line, shield up, making sure everyone goes down the trapdoor with her last.
”I agree, let’s head towards the trap door.” Oni will make sure the enemy attacking Kelric is defeated then help him get to the trap door with the others.

The kobold advance is driven back, and the horde scatters under the desperate blows of the defenders. The pale light of dawn cuts through the rain and the darkness, causing the kobolds to cower in fear. The old man from earlier draws back the string of his bow with shaking hands and fires an arrow into the skull of the kobold sorcerer. This is the last straw for the kobolds.
A resounding cheer echoes through Garumn's Keep as the kobolds and their kenku allies flee in disorder. Congratulations, warrior. You have survived the night.
"Good job everyone " Looking around Kelric sees the few that he had seen earlier still standing and smiles thinking [They seem to be strong enough to survive through that]
Grum stumbles to the trap door, supported by Jill. He climbs somewhat gingerly down the ladder after her, and as he reaches the bottom he thanks Jill for her assistance.
"Now what? Is there anything we can do to stop them just following us?"
When Jill heard what sounded like celebrating, she slowly climbed back up the ladder and peeked out to see the soldiers pushing back the kobold enemies. She smirks when she sees the elderly man take down the kobold sorcerer. Well, well grandfather. Not only do you beat back death, you beat back the enemy. Felicitations. She beckons her comrades up the ladder and asks one of them to take a bottle of something alcoholic up with them. "So that the six of us may celebrate our mutual survival and new friendship." Seeing that the battle is over, Jill ends her Crimson Rite. The frost on her blade dissipates as the wound on Jill's shoulder closes up. "Misha, my friend. If my counting is correct, we both slew four of these creatures, which means that our contest comes down to a tie. It appears that I will be polishing your boots while you polish mine."

Kelric waves away the offer of alcohol "Sorry I don't prefer the effects of alcohol, though I'm glad to call such fighters my friend" Kelric grabs the nearest piece of cloth off a kobold or kenku cleaning his rapier and dagger.

As Oni retreats to the trapdoor he notices the sorcerers defeat and stops his retreat. He is going to walk right over to the sorcerer and go through his pockets. If anyone asks what he is doing or tries to stop him he will say, ”I’ve seen his kind before, they usually have a magic item that does damage to everyone around them when they die. I need to make sure it’s safe for all of our sakes!” Anything he finds he’s keeping and trying to hide the fact that he’s looting. When he’s done he will say, ”He’s clean, I didn’t find any dangerous items.”
((DM for false life do you want to assume I always have it on and have me roll for it when I take damage so I know how much I have? Rather than having me roll every hour?))

Grum climbs back up and goes in search of the Kenku that hit him - looking for one with a ragged handkerchief tied around its eyes. If/when he finds it, he takes the rag, and inspects whether the kenku actually was blind, or just faking it! He then searches the body for anything worth taking.
Oni, you find an amulet of hardened magma carved in the image of a dragon and a flask of acid (vial) in the kobold sorcerers robes.
Grum, you locate the kenku and upon removing the rag find that she has the milky white eyes of a creature that was born blind.
The surviving fifty or so defenders preoccupy themselves with a variety of tasks. Some aid the clerics in tending to the wounded, while others set about digging a mass grave in the center of the compound to throw the kobold and kenku corpses in. Among the warriors who have fallen in battle you spot Vladimir Konstantine and the nameless cleric of the Red Knight.
A graceful woman with long auburn locks strides towards you. You recognize her as Lyrissa Leranne, captain of the Bladesinger contingent.
"Well met, warriors." She hands you a scroll stamped with a red seal. "Deliver this to the mayor of Cheesemill. It contains information regarding the battle." She smiles with exhaustion and relief. "I am proud to call you warriors of the Last Alliance." She bows and departs.
(The Last Alliance is less of an army and more of a formal pledge to defend the northern kingdoms against the hordes of the Fallen Thirteen. After you have delivered the message you are free to adventure in the northern kingdoms as you see fit.)
((What’s the flask? And is the amulet homebrew or an amulet made of hardened magma that has no magical property or an unidentified magical property? Sorry for the questions I’m just excited for my first item lol))
The item is a flask of acid (Fixed the tooltip.) You assume that the amulet is a spell-casting focus.
(In answer to your question about the False Life spell, you will have to inform me every time you want to cast it because, unfortunately, you don't have an infinite number of spell slots. :P)

Jill helps carry Grum to the trapdoor and scrambles down. Once at the bottom, she assists him in getting down the ladder.
