You’re about half a day away from Phandalin, as you come around a bend, you spot two dead horses sprawled about fifty feet ahead of you, blocking the path. Each has several black-feathered arrows sticking out of it. The woods press close to the trail here, with a steep embankment and dense thickets on either side.
While normally quite stealthy, these goblins seem to think too highly of themselves in that. Everyone can see 2 goblins covered in leaves, loose branches in their hands, held slightly aloft. Another 2 are on standing off to the side, with bark stitched to their armour, one on the other's shoulders. Finally, two lay prone next to the horses playing dead, one having a horse's mane and a fake horn attached to his helmet, and another simply having a sign hung on his neck reading "HORZE" in sloppy common.
None of them have realized that you've seen through their clever disguises.
(Don't roll 1's kids, this is your character on 1's)
Alright, I only needed 1 damage roll for that, but I'll consider it advantage over the sheer lucridity of that maneuver.
Jared manages to nonchalantly whistle his way up to the goblin-tree (Note to self: make a Goblin-Tree monster) averting his gaze from their general direction until he's within prime beatdown distance.
After this spectacular move, goblin 4 cartwheels away limply to the road, it's neck having snapped on impact.

Goblin 1 Notches an arrow and lets it fly towards Alteria, dealing 8 damage.
Goblin 2 also lets fly with an arrow, but it gets stuck on the bramble on it's way towards Tungol (Thanks to partial cover)
Goblin 3 tries desperately to escape from Jared's grasp, but is unable to under his vice-like grip.
Goblins 5 and 6 both swarm Jared, trying to free their compatriot, but between the thrashing from the two, they cannot get close, and miss their swings.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Alteria ducks behind some cover and downs a health potion, giving her a little pick-me-up, while Narissa and Tungol start to return fire, only one of the shots hitting.
Meanwhile, Jared tries to swing Goblin 3 at 5 to finish her off, but misses. Unfortunately for Goblin 3 however, he did still hit the ground, hard enough to break his neck and sever his arm in fact.

Goblin 5 tries to swing at Jared with his scimitar and misses, realizing the weight -class difference, before using her Nimble Escape to run out of his range.
Goblins 1 and 2 meanwhile try to focus fire on Tungol, pelting their position with arrows, only one of the shots actually hitting, dealing 3 damage, before retreating behind the horses for cover, and Goblin 1 rushing forward to support Goblin 5
OK.

I hand the reins to Alteria.
"Pull up next to the one in front and guard the wagons. I'm gonna **** some shit up."
Jared
I position the wagon next to the other one like Jared said and place myself between the goblins and wagons, crossbow up and ready to fire.

I'm leaving in the letters and numbers on my self-made maps going forward, so you can tell me exactly which tile you want to go to.
The goblins continue their acting, one of the shrubbery-looking ones starts to slightly sway, as if there were a breeze.
