You rest overnight and refresh yourselves. The aarakocra are fine hosts and while meals are simple, they are filling. The following day Asharra gives you directions to Nangalore.
Long rest, level up!
"Head SW for 2 days and then follow the banks of the River Olung south. 3-4 days south along the river you will find Nangalore."
Several days later you find yourselves in a muddy bog as you approach Nangalore. Working your way through the jungle is difficult but eventually you arrive. You have had to work your way all of the way around and end up approaching from the south.
A fantastic edifice rises up out of the jungle: a hanging garden of exotic beauty. Water streams down the steps between two massive elephant carvings. Beyond them, a broad, flooded avenue runs arrow-straight for more than a hundred feet before ending at a carving of a tyrannosaurus face. Water pours from the tyrannosaurus’s jaws and flows the length of the concourse to drain down the steps in front of you. Five-foot-high terraces flank the boulevard. Low archways — three on each side — are built into the terrace walls. These archways are in various stages of collapse, as are the tunnels beyond them. Beautifully carved, larger-than-life stone faces are mounted between the arches.
A wild profusion of plants grows on the upper terraces, and multicolored parrots and canaries flit and sing among them. To the north, a dilapidated brick dome rises above the tyrannosaurus-head waterspout. Smaller, bell-shaped domes surmount the highest terraces to your left and right.
Kirinar stops and stares at the amazing structure in front of them."Wow...this is an awe-inspiring place! But for such beauty, there must also be great danger if the aarakocra avoid it. So the front way in is also probably the most dangerous way in. Maybe we can move to the left or right side and climb up the walls? It's not that high, and with the tree roots and vines it should be possible. Does anyone see any cranes, or alligators? Back home in the swamps we always had to watch for gators..."
The fighter will walk a few steps to the side to get a better look at the sides of the structure and a possible climbing point. Perception: 15
Kirinar spots 4 crocodiles in the water in front of the entrance. As he looks to the sides he sees that trees and vines do grow close to and up the 20 foot walls.
"I tend to agree with Kirinar," Keyleth says. "We should avoid the direct approach if we can. Those vines seem like they ought to be climbable, anyway."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kirinar goes with Keyleth around to the western side of the walls, picking a good spot with plenty of tree roots growing down the sides. He slings the shield on his back, rubs his hands together, and inspects his potential path up. Are there other potential hazards on the way, like loose stones or perhaps dark holes where snakes might hide? Perception:18
Once he has a clear path, and a few alternate routes, clearly identified, he grabs the roots and starts to climb. Using his feet and legs to propel him up and his hands to steady him as he goes, the fighter also looks over to his friend Keyleth to ensure she is also safe... Athletics:10
A bell-shaped dome of sculpted stone rises from the end of each upper walkway. The dome to the east is beginning to crumble with age. The one to the west is wrapped and draped with thick webs
As Kirinar and Keyleth move to the west side and search for a spot to climb the walls the others trail behind. As they pass underneath the western dome a giant spider drops from above and attacks!
The fighter sees the giant spider dropping from above, and moves next to Keyleth to help protect her with his shield if needed. (While wielding a shield and a creature you can see attacks a target other than you within 5 ft., you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll.)
When he gets the opportunity, Kirinar will strike out at the arachnid with his own deadly stinger! Attack: 27 Damage: 19
"This looks like a good place to go up, once we take care of the reason why it's a good place to go up!"

Initiative?: 25
OoC: I'm assuming the spider is in melee range of K&K? Are we surprised? I'm having a little bit of a hard time matching up the description of our position with the map.
Keyleth draws her dagger and swipes at the spider, before adopting an evasive stance (BA disengage), and backing away, looking for a good place to get out of the spider's line of sight.
Attack: 27 Damage: 12
Edit: Forgot sneak attack damage! If that hits, add an extra 9 magical piercing.
You are able to climb to the top of the western walkway. You see the statue at the south end wrapped in webbing. Taking a closer look you search the webs and find the cocooned, desiccated corpses of an albino dwarf and a goblin, but no treasure.
Looking east you see a garden (2) in the between the walkway you stand on and the other opposite you.
Untamed overgrowth can’t hide the fact that this garden is a haven for exotic plants that don’t grow naturally in the surrounding jungle. Unfamiliar flowers, towering ferns, and even stranger plants resembling giant pine cones or lily pads spread and tangle everywhere. Bright canaries flit between them, and parrots with striped beaks squawk at you.
Directly across from you is a similar dome to the one covered in webbing. The eastern one is crumbling.
To the northwest in the center is a taller dome (4). Traces of gold-colored plaster still cling to this dome in a few spots, but everywhere else you see old weathered bricks, more than a few of which have fallen through. The larger-than-life-size elephant carvings and the graceful, towering spire are still magnificent sights, even if their glory is dimmed by time and decay.
Directly north of you at the end of the walkway you see another structure (6). This crumbling pagoda must have been lovely once, with its wide, graceful arches inviting the breeze to blow through, and overlooking the silent pool below.
"Well, we're here for an orchid, right? I'm guessing the garden there is the most likely place to find one," Keyleth says, pointing toward the overgrowth to the east.
OoC: Can she see anything from here that looks like it might be an orchid?
After the fight and his short adventure, feeling quite tired, Timber turns to the group. "Well I am exhausted. A cat nap sounds perfect!"

OoC: Oops, dropped the ball on this one when I was posting today.
