Tanrick attempts to shoot at the enemy, but screws up and hits a conveniently placed pipe that sprouts fog around him. It’s almost as if the kid knew that would happen.....

I recognize that the placement of the pipe was intentional for when I missed a shot. "oh come on." I mutter to myself. "I shot the audience one time..."
A man who just happened to be behind the pipe shouts. That hurt you know! He then runs back to the audience. He has an arrow wound on his head, bit it isn’t recent.
I cast minor illusion, making a mind flayer appear in front of the citizen. "well maybe you should stay off the field..." I chuckle as he reacts in fear before allowing the illusion to disappear.
Jathon charges as Tanrick has some fun. (Don’t worry, not your turn. I know when we are having fun and joking or not). He pulls his hammer and is ready to fight, not that Tanrick notices. He is pushed back by the belt.

(Also if we wanna homebrew it so that the cloud is less time I would be chill with it cause it seems like the smoke might just make the battle really tedious in the long run
