Titus takes position at the head of the group, his shield out in front as they cautiously make their way down the passage towards the scouts.

Saralyssa moves to the center of the group, ready to aid with magic if they come under attack, but letting others be the front line of defense.

Morph utters an arcane word and makes a gesture with his hand, his eyes beginning to glow dimly, the familiar indicator that he can now see magic.

Using his magical sight and his relativity recently expanded darkness senses, Morph keeps a watch as the group travels to the cavern.

DM shield:

Sabastian and Midnight quietly flap through the labyrinth of crumbling tunnels. They spot three groups of giant spiders along the way but are themselves not seen. They unveil many closed doors and a few open or ajar doors with openings wide enough to squeeze through. These lead to empty or collapsed rooms. The rest, about a dozen or so, are closed and at least latched, if not locked. None of the rooms, open or closed, seem to lead through the maze. Midnight detects a path that appears to emerge out on the south side of the complex of tunnels.

"All Sabastian sees is more tunnels and doors." Saralyssa announces after getting reports from her owl. She glances to the others. "Did Midnight have any more luck?"

"More of the same, as well as a few groups of Giant Spiders," Rethan says.  "But Midnight did manage to find a path through to the south finally."

After Rethan and Saralyssa have finished updating the groups map, Morph speaks,

"I want to explorer a more of these closed doors."

"I know we have a mission to continue painting the line..."

Morph waves at his unseen servant Joy, holding the paint-can and brush floating in the air, behind the group.

"...but we don't make a great deal of profit from our organisations, and we have such a great opportunity to possibly find all kinds of interesting treasurers."

"I vote we take a route like this..."

Morph indicates a route starting where the group is and going from door to door, B->L->K->J->H->I->D->G->F->E->A->C, before tracing a route back to the exit in the south.

Morph looks at his friends with a hopeful look in his eye and a smile at the corners of his mouth.

"Fine with me." Saralyssa says with a shrug. "This is my first time down here, so I am up for whatever helps out the group, including our coffers."

Rethan nods.  "Works for me as well"

Morph look at Titus and Laniel, the pair most likely to want to push for the main objective, a questioning but hopeful look on his face.

Titus nods and replies with a curt “Very well. We can at least check a few of these. Though it’s beyond me why you always need to go seeking out trouble when it seems to have such a knack for finding us.”

"I am definitely staying close to you all," Laniel says. "But I agree with Titus. This feels like opening a present with snakes in it. lead the way, Morph."

Morph bursts into a wide grin, actually, maybe the grin is a little too wide.

Morph rubs his hands together.

"Great! This is going to be fun! Lets explore!"

Morph turns and start striding in the direction of door B, but stops about 10ft away, slowing down and starting to take a more cautious approach, turning his head back towards his friends.

"Right, still got to be careful."

Morph turns back and starts to move again, this time more slowly, his eye's dimly glowing, as he scans for trouble and excitement.

Saralyssa moves after their erstwhile leader, following along a few steps behind, and having her owl flapping just a bit ahead of the group.

Titus opens the door, weapon drawn, to face a male drow sitting on a bucket, his trousers around his ankles. He says nothing, but his wide eyes and slightly agape expression reveal all the embarrassment one can imagine.

“Buhaaa!” Stammers Titus with shock as he hastily slams the door shut. “Nine Hells Morph... now you’ve got us on latrine duty! Ugh I bet these are all full of the same treasure. Maybe it’s for the best, anybody else need to go while we’re here?”

Morph only barely manages to keep himself from bursting out laughing.

"You think this might be the latrine district? I wonder if they have one with a nice view or magical auto cleaning?"

Morph grins, before turning towards the next door.

"Lets have a look."

Morph starts heading to the next door.

"Um... Aren't we worried that dark elf back there is going to get his buddies and come after us?" Saralyssa asks with a frown back to the door. She moves with the others onward, but keeps glancing over her shoulder in concern.

"Eh, maybe, but he has to get over his embarrassment first and then has to be willing to explain how he met us to his allies."

Morph grins,

"I think, if they did try to come after us, we would probably be long gone by then."

"If not, well, we could probably take them."

Morph grins again and winks.
