The pale skinned crimson haired humanoid just came to from being knocked out in a jolt "HEX!" as he tried to move he realized that he was tied to a pole. As his surroundings came to him he then notices the wood elf next to him "hey, where are we?" He just continued to try and take in his surroundings to figure out where he might be.
I bring Leto away from the gates to somewhere we can speak. "I'm not sure if we should but it prompted them to move faster for some reason. On one hand, it's best to find out, but on the other, the culprit may be long gone by now. At least it appears that they ignored you earlier so it seems someone of your appearance would not alarm them." I look back from where I just came from, "It seems like we will have to ambush them quietly in these woods before they turn the corner."
As Azrael searches, he notices another note on the top of the pole, with a key tied to it. It reads ‘You might need this, pal. Also, get yourself untied, quick.’ He also hears whatever’s in the vents approaching faster and faster....

(so if man A has spotted something using his magic wall vision or See Invisibility, or sees a secret compartment, then no one else would see it. However, a key that isn’t supposed to be hidden? Once someone spots it, everyone can see it.)

Latrius manages to struggle up to the top of a relatively short pole, and grab the key to free himself. (And I assume Azrael, as i’ll Allow it. You’re not supposed to be restrained for this bit.)
The vent bursts open! Out comes what looks like 6 hands and a witch. The hands surround the witch as you notice something strange- she’s hasn’t attacked yet, and the hands seem to be surrounding her. She’s wearing a fancy ring.
Although, they look as if they’re ready to attack, the hands at least. The witch’s own hands have claws, and she has her face changing over and over, to something different each time as she casts a spell. It’s as if she’s trying to look threatening.
Drehs, you’re up!
(Distances: Dresh is 10ft from the witch and hands, Florus is about 20, Azrael and Latrius are 10ft (5ft up, 5ft away) edit: Latrius is also 10ft away, but be hind the small floor that the pole was connected to)

Are we ever sure that we exist? Do we have feelings? Or are we just NPC's designed to think highly? If so what is our purpose? Why are we here? Who are the players? Or are there Players?

(Note: When I say For Disadvantage, I mean you had disadvantage so you are supposed to roll a second time, not with disadvantage. When I say with disadvantage, you roll with disadvantage.)
As Dresh charges, 3 of the hands scratch at the Dragonborn!
Attack: 22 Damage: 5, Attack: 10 Damage: 5, and Attack: 12 Damage: 3. they don’t land anything to protect the witch.
as the witch disappears, Dresh’s blade seems to hit something, and there is definitely blood, bit none that you can see.

The other 3 claws slash at Floris as he comes near!
Attack: 18 Damage: 5, Attack: 22 Damage: 3, Attack: 8 Damage: 5. Florus gets a small scrape as he manages to kill 4 out of 6 of the hands, unfortunately you still hear things in the vent.
Azrael, you’re up!
(meanwhile, Krwa and Leto, feel free to continue doing things. Go back to the castle for relay, scout some more, etc.)

Azrael just stood up look at Latrius who had freed him "Thanks."
He turns to look at the creature and draws his scimitar. This was not how he imagined his day going as he begins to channel dark purplish black flames down his arm and the phrase "Burn" coming form his lips as the flame moves towards the creature.

Seeing that the wagon sped up and I won't be able to trail behind stealthily, I let the wagon go and return to Leto. I relate to him what I saw.
Leto asks if you you found the noise, or if you'd like to go check it out before heading back.

Haven’t used this account in forever. Still a big fan of crawling claws.
(I would not notice the key, correct? If I do I’ll unlock the chains. If I don’t:)
Latrius hears the scrabbling approaching, and narrows his eyes.
”You know, the people tied to poles could maybe use a little help here, whoever you are.”
He’ll attempt to wriggle out of the chains.
