As B/K make their way along the right wall, they can feel greater heat emanating from the other side of it. As he gets closer, he takes a look through one of the multitude of 'window' slits, staring at the orange glow for a moment, before realizing that it was moving albeit very slowly, the hot, orange glow shifted in faint, but perceivable motions. Then, makign hsi way to one of the large statues, he examines it. And while he finds nothing out of the ordinary except it's exemplary craftsmanship, and the fact that it dons an odd looking whip.. seemingly shaped of three tentacle like limbs, forever frozen in a fresco of action, as if smiting his foes - he does find an engraving Battlemaster Evrik, Whom braved the Underdark, and Quelled the rise of the demonic scourge. Honored forever in these halls for his heroics yet to come to pass.
Era walking forward so cautiously that it was dangerous, walks face first into the central pillar, smashing her face against it as Mino's follows close behind. However his attention was grasped far too much by the engravings that seemed to be on the selfsame walls of the columnar pillar that era has so gracefully assaulted. Pointing it out to the rest of the group, if they were itnerested.
Vola walks slowly down the left hand side of the hallway, making rough sketches as she goes. She stops to examine the first armour suit, secretly hoping (and dreading) it will come to life.

Unlike Gustav and Wonder, the former needing to stop just past the entrance and catch his breathe by all accounts, and the other merely wishing to watch over worriedly, Guss and Nin follow in the wake of Era and Minos, acting as something of quiet guards. Albeit with less pillar smashing, and Nin looking around half-halfheartedly around at the decor. His footing he keeps a close eye on however, knowing all too well from past experience how tricky some dwarves could get when it came to their abodes.
Nin's Investigation: 12. (Think Nin investigating the nearby floor panels Era, and just having the number above be his default possibly until the group reaches a new area.)
As far Ka, he keeps pace with Vola for the most part, realizing by now the Orc's tendency to disappear into her own head when led astray by a thought. Where as her focus are on just anything interesting however, he steps and checks her course ahead at points, looking for signs of traps or subtly hidden runes taught by Gustav to be mindful of. And if he thought himself confident, perhaps even try to disable using crude makeshift bone tools and a few leather worker types that MIGHT just help. Though if too complicated at a glance, he whistles sharply back to a resting Gustav.
"Don't get to far too quickly now. There'll be plenty of time to properly explore the place. And... mm.... And mind any writing and runes ya see. Knew a Gold Dwarf back in the Underchasm that had a fondness for layering little traps'en 'em. Nice fellow though, if a bit of an eccentric." He said, trying to effect a bright tone, and perhaps even halfway succeeding at that. But as he stood, then eventually sat after drying himself as much as possible (Wonder following in tow), his eyes get a real distant look about them as an uneager mind falls back to memories of Truk and bad... bad dream
Burgee arches an eyebrow as he an Kauil pass the statue, "Unusual for a dwarf," Burgee quietly says to Kauil, "No hammer or axe? Wonder who he was?" As they continue, his staff still vibrating with life, he adds "The strange movement out there," nodding toward the windows, "it must have something to do with this," as he shows the staff to Kauil. "This place is odd my friend, I sense you may need more protection, but..." the staff still feeling alive in some way, gave Burgee pause. He examined it more closely as he traced one of the symbols with his finger. The symbol seemed to move under his finger, and visions of turbulent seas filled his mind. He moved his hand away and shook his head, "Just stay close. There are things here I do not understand."

Vola approaches the first statue on the opposite side of the room. This statue was more expected. A single dwarf, with a stoic expression stands there, his bear billowing in an frozen breeze. Wielding an great axe solemnly placed, spike tip top into the 'ground', with both hands, overlapping each-other on the base of the handle. Where he's looking is difficult to tell. Written on a similar engraving Battlemaster Ulfric Battlehammer - Fighting off the Parasitic Scourge for nearly a century.
Upon closer inspection, vola finds a tiny.. tiny notch in the blade of the axe, with a tiny switch that is so intricately carved along the filigree of the weapon itself, it looks like it can be pressed into the engraving itself.
Nin seems to be wonder-struck by the beauty of the dwarven structure and all the intricate details that he becomes too distracted to be of any help, however he seems exceedingly excited for some reason. Ka while much more observant, finds nothing thus far.

Vola can sense quite visibly, that magic is everywhere, though most of it is currently mundane. Her sense of 'pull' she felt earlier has only increased slightly. Much like Burgee's staff, the deeper the party goes inside, the stronger it gets. However, Vola can also sense something akin to the Abyss.... Approaching, yet not quite here.... The magic is too complex a web for her to discern entirely. But she can sense multiple magics at play... interplanar... Evocation.... The lizardfolk brothers with their more alien minds readied weapons as to attack the nearby structure itself. And may have succeeding if not from a sharp hissing note from Gustav. The two turn back to see both Tabaxi with their ears folded back against their skull, but looking ahead and further down the hall with rapt attention. "You need not be so defensive, Vola. Noone can blame you for the machinations of these dwarfs."He says, rising back to his feet with the help of Wonder. "Awfully presumptuous of them to assume any that enter this place would seek a prophecy and trial... but then, perhaps too this citadel's placement had been apart of that grand scheme." Gustav chuckles at the idea, but there's no real mirth.
The easy going demeanor that often carried him and his fellows through dark times in youth had grown just a little more dimmer...
"It would've been nice if they at least left more immediate and straightforward clues over theatrics. But, never let it be said that dwarves do not have a mind for Drama."He carries on as he marched now to the self-same pillar Minos tried to draw attention to examine. Unless any engravings or the like stand out immediately to the Tabaxi however, distrusting now the time available, he merely takes out a safely kept book and ink pen to sketch as much as he can of the design for later study. Only once that's done will he have Wonder stick close to Era -- despite much glaring and softly spoken protest from the younger tabaxi -- before beginning to head down the hall from the center of the right half of it, pausing only really to study at the murals or any other engravings in the statue. Before he can get too far at first, Wonder runs up with feather in hand, and climbs up long enough to tickle his ear with it. "Ah! Why you are you--"He pauses, noticing the [Tooltip Not Found] in her hand. Then in the blink of an eye, he is looking around looking rather wired yet focused all at once. "Oh my.. this.. This wondrous. Though not as nearly as you." Gustav grins as he lowers her back to the ground, earning a smirk in turn before she jets back to stand by Minos and Era.
(The arrows dictate moreso Gustav's path than anything during this walk. Keeping in mind the limits of dark vision in the dungeon, he makes a point of never being more than forty feet from the nearest person with it until something happens to potentially force a change. So, just have that in mind as Gustav's status Quo.)
(Similarly, he's keeping as much of an eye on the floor ahead as he goes along as much as he can afford to keep an eye for traps: Investigation: (2)25.)
Meanwhile, a still leery of the building "attacking" them close ranks near Vola of all people, and are never more than ten feet ahead and next to her. Strangely, the new forboding feeling only seems to excite Nin more. At least to the point that, seeing Burgee's staff tremble after a while, he keeps a closer eye and readies to follow him. That is, if he should be compelled to move ahead of the group again on a whim.
As Gustav makes his way around the pillar, his eyes fall upon what Mino's had spotted earlier. Inlaid into the pillar itself was a mural. The mural depicting.. what Gustav could only assume as the world of Toril Surrounded by an infinite void, that he could only assume was space, as thousands of tiny dots littered the void at seemingly random intervals. And the moons of Faerun were visible.
The next panel over, rows and rows of humanoids were lined up on slabs, depicted as though they were sleeping. Above them, a massive snake, devouring something from each of them, though the humanoids themselves seemed to remain alive, just below the same panel, they're depicted thrashing about in terror.
Once the room is sealed and the performance is over, Vola finds herself back in front of the armour and almost without her thinking about it, she's pressing that button. Just to see. It might be important. And it's not going to make things any worse.... right...?
As the switch is pressed, the front half of the Axe explodes off, flying away nearby, and making that metal 'wououou' noise of a circular item coming to rest as it rotates. And after a moment, Vola would see exactly 10 Sickly green vials inside the axe.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

"What the!?" they say in unison avoiding the flying metal from the exploding axe.
"Vola, what have you found?"
