Fionula
"Hrm," she says, perplexed. "I have him gagged, so he can't yell, but he also can't answer." She crouches next to Tallios. "Listen, nod if you agree to answer all our questions without yelling for your friends or doing anything like that, and I'll take the gag out. But cross us, and I'll drag you to the stream personally. You might not believe me, but you can see how rusty these bands are. They're really hard to clean after you drown something in them." She looks up at the party. "Oh, and we'll peck your eyes out, too! So, deal?"

Tallios nods. Once gagged, he says "Oh dear, Drannin has underestimated you by a good margin. What deal are you suggesting? I suspect you are planning to kill me anyway so give me a reason not to yell out"

"Klong no kill unarmed prisoner,"says the bard truthfully, not looking at Fionula. "Changeman help us, tell us what Dwarf can do. Then, go, or help us in Tomb if you want. If help, you get equal loot. What say you?"
She looks honestly surprised. "Kill you, why would we do that? Half of us wouldn't bat an eye, mind you, but that same half is perfectly happy to work with a like-minded individual looking for a good return on their time... uh, you'd get your life, is what I'm saying, in case it isn't clear enough. We'll prop you up over here, out of the way, you tell us everything you know about those dwarves and your employer, and when we get back from dealing with them, we'll let you go. On the honor of someone who knows what it's like to be stuck in a no-win pact. Also, big guy," she nods at Klong, "Doesn't like being lied to. He wouldn't like it if I was lying to you, right Klong?"

While Kelvin is ritually casting, she will continue to quiz the doppelgänger, who is now propped up against a wall somewhere, but still caged.
"What kinds of potions did he 'invest in?' What is the make-up of the band of dwarves? All fighters? Casters? Are there really only six of them? Is Drannin with them? What can he do? Wizard? A good singing voice? Why are you scared of him? How much were you getting paid? Don't say 'my life,' because that's pretty cheap right now. Where did they stash Gurgle? By which I mean Gargosh, but his mother must've hated him. Are you supposed to give a signal when you come back out with us and the axe? What was the plan for that? How much is the axe worth?"

"You were never meant to escape the tomb. He has as at least one construct with him, and I saw him buy a potion of frost giant strength. As for casters or not, no idea."
Klong nods. He suspects that the shapeshifter, were it freed, would simply side with whatever side has the best chance of winning. Once the ritual is finished, Klong plays a few beats on his drum, giving each member of the party bardic inspiration. He thinks to the group. "Ready for Gate spell."
She turns to the group, testing the telepathic party line. << All right, guys. I'll go left and try to get to a spot where I can pepper them from a distance. >>
But before she moves out, she will check in on Swifty, who is cowering for his life, hidden wherever he ended up. Dwarves still up to nothing much?

Fionula will sneak to a position where she can see into the amphitheater, on the left (west side) perhaps up the cliff, if she can scale it easily. She will try to be stealthy. With guidance.
Stealth: 26
And will add the Dark One's Own Luck to that roll: 5
Oh, right, Guidance: 1
Sigh... a 15. If she thinks anyone has heard her, she'll silently command Swifty to execute "Plan Alpha Sixer, drunk bird causes laughter, and maybe get's killed." It is not his favorite.

After hearing Fi's threat, Fil makes a croaking noise and locks eyes with Tallios.

"That's about as good as I'm going to get. Drannin should be your focus. He invested in some potions for this"
"Brilliant deduction, targetting the leader." Kelvin huffs and starts muttering incantations in the middle of the assembled group.

As Kelvin casts his ritual, Klong listens to Fionula's long string of interrogations. "Witch girl ask good question," he thinks approvingly.
