"It's a blunter approach than I'd normally advocate, but I find that a good cleansing fire is useful to dispose of messes like this," Glim says over the link, warming up his fingers for a fireball spell. "If there are no objections?"
[[Not a fan of the idea, thanks. Shot in the dark - and no pun intended here - but does anyone have a way to hit them all at once? Suppose I could try melting a few brains, but I feel like they eat more than they have in their heads.]]

"Hitting them all at once was kind of the point of the fireball, Kelvin," Glim somehow manages to sound exasperated even in telepathy. "You're welcome to do your psychic blast thing instead if you must. I suppose it's quieter."
"How about cast light spell on familiar, then send familiar to lure out dead?" suggests Klong. "Then, they come out and we can make fire oven again like before?"
[[Glim, give the man some credit! He's actually got a brilliant idea there: Lure them into an ambush. Gotta keep the glowing familiar idea in mind too.]]

"Ok, but Fil already managed to draw them out. They're just right there! Doesn't this already qualify as an ambush?"
OoC: May be some differences in how we're imagining the scene here. I assume that we have line of sight on them, and that they're clustered on the body?
[[Tell you what, Glim, you try melting someone's brain with exploding, melting, or freezing it and I'll spin the volatile forces The Weave into an explosive projectile. Shall we compare notes?]]
(Less petty reasoning: Lvl 5 slot vs. Lvl 3 slot. Got no problem with it since it's a 20' radius, WIS save, 8d6 plus stupification.)

OoC: Yeah, synaptic static is stronger, but also a higher level slot. Depends how aggressive we want to be here; I'm seeing this as a pretty quick clean-up and move on fight, unless there are a bunch more of them we can't see yet, which is, y'know, definitely a possibility.
Fionula says << Wow, Klong, that's downright evil of you. I'm impressed. But I like the Short Bros plan better, maybe first one, then the other, if the first one, you know, goes pffft? >>

"Alright, sounds like a quorum to me. Lucky those creatures haven't already dispersed for as long as that deliberation took. Ooh, I know, we should convince the ghouls to form a committee! Then they'll never manage to do anything!"
Assuming everyone is a safe distance away, Glim mutters something under his breath, as a glowing orange bead heads toward the corpse and explodes into a sphere of fire.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Flames burst into the room and the crowd of undead creatures burst into flame. The Ghouls you can see drop immediately, while the Ghasts appear to be very badly hurt, save for one. They turn towards you. Your hallway is 10 feet wide.
"Good fire Grey man. Your idea good after all," thinks Klong approvingly, not realizing that to Glim, having anyone "approve" his ideas is downright insulting. Klong hurls two javelins at the nearest undead still standing. His powerful arms throw the deadly projectiles straight and true, the javelins ripping through flesh and bone.
OOC: If first javelin kills a ghoul, second one goes to different target

"'After all'?" Glim telepaths to Klong. "I know you're just trolling me but you'd better be careful: I tend to blast trolls with fire too." Remembering the time Klong was the accidental recipient of one of Glim's fire bolts, he adds, preemptively defensive, "On purpose, even!"
"Anyway, let's see if I can finish burning off what I started," Glim says, as he blasts a bolt of flame toward the last(?) remaining ghast(?).
