“Whew! Shall we take a break before moving on? Drink water everybody! Stay hydrated! Also, if everyone wants to gather around for a quick pick-me-up, I’ll ease our troubles with a nice tune.”
Assuming everyone gathers, he’ll play his Song of Rest, which sounds like an acoustic version of Styx’s “Come Sail Away”, and gives everyone an extra 1d6 hp if they spend any hit dice in recovery.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Dog managed not to get hit at all, and feels a little guilty about it. "I tried to make them attack me instead of you all. Those javelins were pretty nasty. And Keyrie, your wolves were what saved the day, and saved Genny. Thank you."
He gives the wolves scritches behind the ears before they disappear. He scoops up Genny, musses her hair with a soft growl and a smile, and also has a quick talk about rationing out bathroom breaks.
As the others rest, he keeps an eye out for anything else on the horizon (perception 9) and wanders around to each of the bugbear bodies, searching for anything interesting (investigation: 19). He'll scoop up the weapons and put them in the cart.
Bulwark will sheathe his maul and trudge over to the rest of the group, mud sticking to his legs. He'll also survey the area, bringing out his shield (Perception: 22), after which he'll sit down and starting trying to fix the pieces of him that got loose after Stone's spell.
Dog finds 207 gold in various denominations as well as 9 crudely cut gems, each worth about 10 gold. He also finds 9 usable morningstars and 6 javelins. None of the armor pieces are in good shape to salvage.
Dog offers to split the gold and gems up or put them into the party gold in the bag of holding, along with the weapons.
"Does anyone think this was more than just a passing bit of brigandry? It seemed so, but there's angels and demons on the loose so it's always good to be skeptical. I'm glad you're all okay. It will be good to get to Masa."
He'll take a look at the map to see how far they have to go and look at the sun to see how much longer they have in the day to ride after their rest.
Have we been seeing very few people on the road? Or steadier traffic?
As Keyrie moves back to their wagon she notices that the pot she has been watching over has broken leaving and awakened Hazelnut shrub in its place. Keyrie tries out all of her languages one by one wondering which one the Shrub has learned.
As the party is checking the horses and wagons and securing their possessions, a shrill cry rises out of the nearby reeds. 10 bugbear berserkers rush forward, intent on avenging their fallen brethren.
The bolt brushes past some reeds, throwing it off target.
Gash flips the bugbear off in retaliation and then turns his hand around and from the palm out comes a fire bolt.

The bugbear was a stalwart warrior, nearly surviving attacks from 2/3 of the party, but alas, the warrior has fallen.
(Combat has ended. You may take a short rest if you like.)

"Yeah, I'll take a little rest. Those guys were *****. Search them before we go. I'm just going to sit for a second and read."
Gash takes a moment and focuses on his magic and uses Arcane recovery to get a 3rd level slot back.

(I had Stones at 4 HP. Did you forget to take that last 20 point hit off, Mayhem?)
(Yes, I did. Thanks I’ll make the correction)

"Put mine into the party gold as well."
