As Dog flies up next to Gash, he says, "can you use your mage hand to unlatch the window on the inside, and then message Tock to come straight here to teleport away? We still look different and might be able to get away with this, plus some time looking."
Can Dog see inside the room? Can he see the door, anyone in there, anything interesting? Perception: 13
With Gash next to him and Tock elsewhere, he stows away the immovable rod and coil of rope.
Gash nods and summons an incorporeal looking hand inside the room. It floats to the window latch and unlocks it with a simple twist of the, er, wrist. Dog, watching the door for any activity, finds he is holding his breath as he pushes the window open and flies into the room. Inside he finds an even more lavish room than the one he rented two hours before. It is replete with small breakfast nook, a dining room with complete settings already laid out, two four-poster beds, and two baths, both sunken marble like his own room. A study, with a private library, is immediately to the right. From where he stands now, Dog can see a number of papers, scrolls, and quills and ink laid out on it. In the distance, a door bangs open, somewhere outside the suite but on the third floor of the inn.
If Dog can see the door that leads out of the suite, the one through which he heard banging from whatever hallway door banging open, he will cast force wall in a color matching the color of the door, positioned such that when the door is opened, all the people on the other side see is the wall. If the door opens inward, the door would stop opening when it hit the wall. He then asks Gash if he should cast comprehend languages or if Gash wants to, looking over the papers briefly and looking around for a locked cabinet, drawer, or safe of some kind.
"Better than, or worse than, buying horses, Gregory?"
Tock stops, looks at the butler and makes a "come here" motion with her hand somewhere past the butler's shoulder. (Invoke duplicity)
Another woman walks in from a side door and stops at the butler and Tock. She looks exactly as Tock.
"We know who the attackers are and have been monitoring their activities. They are part of a larger group and are just a distraction while you are actually getting robbed at this very moment."
She then addresses the duplicate, "Let the commander know we are being held up by a butler." And the duplicate walks out the door while Tock stares at the butler.
"Robbed!?" says the butler. "Robbing the inn? I shall send a boy for the Watch immediately." He turns and begins to cast orders about to various people, who scatter into many different directions.
Meanwhile, upstairs, Dog secures the door to the suite while he looks around. He DOES find a safe, but it is already open, with papers like those on the desk. Looking at the papers on the desk, he sees they are definitely in a language he cannot read. As he casts his spell to try and read them, a stout knocking on the door to the suite sounds.
"Ms. Axonia. Ms Viviora. Are you okay in there?"
Dog does not have much time but he can read the first few lines of the document on top of the pile on the desk.
The Accords of Cessation
Between the Nine Heavens and the Nine Hells
The document is long. At least 30 pages or more. It appears, at a glance, to be written in a lot of formal language. He even spies a "party of the first part" at one point as he casts his eyes over the document. Some notes and edits are written directly onto this document as well in a careful but florid handwriting.
The other papers appear to be notes and letters, some of them from Ritter.
The knocking repeats on the front door.
"Ladies? We have sent for the maid to check on you."
Dog grabs the notes about the accord, and the notes from Ritter, and gives them to Gash with a look at the bag of holding.
He then grabs a spare scrap of paper and quill/pen/pencil and writes "borrowing - will return tomorrow - sorry for... mess" on it, shows it to Gash, and places it inside the safe. He starts to close it and then looks at the goblin with an uncertain look. If Gash nods, he will close the door. If he doesn't, he'll take the note with him, scrapping the idea.
Pointing at his head and then at the door, he whispers into Gash's ear, "would message let you sound like Viviora to whoever's out there? Otherwise we may want to leave. We're not mimics."
(Gash would need to be familiar with the target to message through the door, per the spell description.)
On the second floor, a head pokes out of the window and looks around, seeing Gash clinging to the side of the inn. "Hey!" he says in a burly voice. "You, don't move!"
Martin:
After about 20 minutes of walking, the pair of ladies sit in a field of wild flowers, chatting. Viviora appears to be weaving together some of the flowers into a crown, which elicits a smile and a small laugh from her companion.

Tock says, "Involving the Watch is the best idea you've had so far. Now that you have the required information we will continue watching and following from afar."
She steps real close to the butler, a dagger suddenly appears from a fold of the clothing and she cuts off one of the buttons from the butler. She then leans in and whispers in his ear, "You never saw us, you just had a hunch that you were robbed."
Tock then walks around the butler, keeping her hand on his shoulder and whispers once more, "We know how to find you." Then she creates another duplicate that walks back to the front of the butler and out the front door. She herself slips up the stairs.
(I assume some check or checks will be required, so there's a few rolls.. also Stealth is with advantage if required. 1, 6, 9, 13 )
Gash nods. and then shakes his head at the idea, "Time to go. We'll come back for Tock." Gash scrambles through the window opens the bag and packs the papers in grabs ahold of Dog and grabs the patch of grass he took from near the magic shop and casts teleport

Martin:
DM roll: 20 vs. 25
Martin is stealthy. He finds an excellent spot and manages to obscure himself almost entirely. So it is especially surprising when Viviora's companion smiles at him and points out his location to Viviora. The young aspiring librarian looks over and a squints. A smile creeps onto her face and she offers a little wave. The women return to their conversation. They seem to be giggling or laughing a lot more than they were.
Tock:
The butler grabs Tock's arm before he can go anywhere. "Who did you say you were again? I think I missed it before."
This guy is one competent butler.
Dog and Gash:
The pair appear in a small park. Fortunately, it looks to be abandoned at this hour, the sun having dipped down and most people enjoying supper or a drink at a tavern.
Bulwark and Althus:
After 20 minutes of idle chatter, Neventi begins to get restless. "Where is everyone? Can we please leave?" Her manner starts to become somewhat frantic. "The sun has already gone down. Where is Dog? Where is Gash?"
