Dog would definitely like to see if he can find tracks of the bandits who fled the battle, if anyone else is game for looking with him (he's never been very good at that sort of thing). "Anyone see tracks or sign of them? You all can see better than I can, and no one wants surprise crossbows."
"FeyTok! Here's more good stuff for the cart," he calls as he brings over the supplies. He is fascinated by the bag of holding, and experiments a bit with it when other people aren't looking. He volunteers to carry it and keep the party's valuable goods in it, unless someone else wanted the responsibility.
He shows the map to Nev and the others. "What does this mean? Where do we go? I've seen quite a few places, but I had no idea the world was so big."
Also Dog rests when he has a chance, when he's not out looking for runaway bandits if there's appetite for doing so (rolling 1 HD for 11 hp).

Tock would like to don the leather armor. Feels a bit safer in it. And crossbow bolts as well if nobody else minds.
He nods to Dog, "I shot one of them pretty good, lets follow the trail of blood". If they do get to follow the trail then he will shout out a short phrase or other with the voice of the bandit captain (Survival check in case it's needed: 6 as well as stealth: 16)
(Dog will need to give up his short rest to pursue the two bandits but it is clear they are not hanging about.)
Nev looks at the map, amazed at the detail and scope of it. "I've never seen a map of Alcion before," she says while Gentoa tries to grab at the precious paper. It simply is not something commoners have access to. "Dawsal would pay a mint to hang this in his curios shop, I'd bet." She sighs. "As for where to go, I'd prefer not to go back to Marctenus, or any other town. I wish this map told us more about where the army forts are. Maybe a big city could be safer...but maybe it could be more dangerous too. I just don't know where to go next."
She squeezes her daughter until the little child protests. "Woof woof!" says the little girl as she runs circles around Dog.
(Anyone else that wishes to roll hit dice, now is your chance. Feel free to RP what your character is doing during the next hour of rest.)
While Dog is talking with Nev, Tock, who is not in need of a rest, scouts the trail of the wounded bandit. The trail is fairly obvious and the kenku finds the bandit about half a mile from the abandoned army camp, leaning up against a large tree and trying to remove Tock's bolt from her side. It is clear that the bandit woman does not notice the kenku lurking behind the trees 50 feet away.
Dog does a quick circuit of the camp with Tock but sticks close to the group to rest. He suggests Tock be careful once the kenku spots the trail and begins tracking the bandit.
He asks what others wish to do next. "Apart from following the army, what are the options? Goal's to keep Gentoa safe. Where is safety? Armies fight, but if that means fiends that's no place for a child. Hold on."
He looks down at Gentoa, still running around his legs, barking, and the impassive facade he'd been keeping up for 20 minutes of her play cracks, and he lets out a big goofy "ARF ARF ARF" and falls to the ground, rolling on his back, hoisting her up in the air at the bottom of a big puppy pile.
He's amazed that she just had a front-row seat to a big fight where these people she just met killed a half dozen attackers and appears to be totally okay.
Tock looks around to make sure the other bandit who fled isn't around first. Then he shoots a bolt at this one, aiming at the tree behind her, an inch above her head. Then immediately hides behind the tree again.
With a quiet voice he says, "Drop everything you are carrying and start walking back to the fighting place. NOW!"
He intends to follow 40 feet behind with his crossbow pointed at her at all times.
"This is the first time I have transformed into another animal." Keyrie looks at her arms thinking about how they were the legs of a wolf and an elk just a moment earlier. Those that have been in the circus for a while know that as a Firbolg she can use a special kind of disguise self to make her look more like a normal human. She would often use then when they were traveling through a town to draw less attention to herself. This is however the first time she has transformed into an animal and it seemed to be much more than just an illusion. " I can transform into any animal I have seen before, as long as its not too powerful. I'm not sure where the power came from. After fighting so much I felt myself growing and now I have this power. The spirit totem is the same, I can make a few different ones. The bear which we used in the last fight. A Hawk which should help us see and attack things, and the Unicorn which should help keep us healthy.

Actually, I'll just roll it, cause I want to find out for myself (If that ever bothers any of you, let me know.)
Tock Intimidation: 12
Tock's ploy is effective. The bandit stands up, throwing her scimitar and crossbow onto the ground. She puts her hands in the air and trudges back towards the abandoned army camp.
About halfway through the short rest, Tock returns, holding a severely wounded bandit at crossbow-point. She sees her dead leader and chokes up at the sight of his burned and bloodied body, but she says nothing. Instead, she stops at a tree stump and sits down, pride and body damaged from the situation. "Well?" she says. "What is it gonna be then?"
Dog leaps to attention as Tock brings the bandit back into camp. He claps a giant hand on this feathered shoulder. (Did we ever get a view of whether the bandits were humans/what clothes they were wearing/what condition they were in? Also anything more about the bandit Tock found?)
He sees her reaction to the leader's body, and winces a bit himself. "How many times did we try to warn you away from attacking us and murdering us? We didn't want this."
"Who are you? How long were you here? What have you seen? Where did the army go? The more true things you say, the more useful we'll find you. If you like being a resident of this world, I think you'll want to be very useful today."
He adopts what he hopes is a very imposing stance, leaning into his scary giant heritage, and working with others potentially to secure her/bind her with rope to make sure she doesn't try anything funny.
She looks around at her fallen comrades, all human except for a half-elf and a half-orc as Dog talks to her, asking questions. She answers each one in a monotone voice.
"Lillen," she says he name is.
"A couple of hours before you all arrived."
"We only seen you."
She shrugs at the question about where the army went. "Don't much care. Just pickin' over their leavings."
Tock slumps down on another tree stump, tension leaving his body after the fight and retrieving of the bandit. He puts his hand beneath his feathers and it comes back bloody.
(OOC: I don't mind at all if you roll for me, for anything. And I'd love for the short rest to be extended a bit.. or others to find something to do while Tock recovers as well)
(OOC another vote for split gold, and put the other valuable stuff into the bag of holding to sell most of it later -- I'm happy to track the inventory of that if no one else wants to! Would be channeling Grog Strongjaw's bag of holding holder role on Critical Role)

Feytock is going to stay close to the cart just in case there is trouble and poke around at what the soldiers didn't take and bandits didn't scavenge.

Pausing his investigation which was really more to pass time and keep his mind occupied Feytok looks up. "A temple, we could go to a temple. "
Keyrie will take the short rest. 6
"I also feel like a temple could be a good idea, but in the end she is your child and you can have the final say Gentoa."

Tyrol spends 1 hit die as well: 9
He spends most of the hour sitting, examining the map that Dog found, pensive about how the situation has not panned out as expected.
(I'll advance the story after Tock is done with the bandit he tracked. In the meantime, try to decide on how the loot is divided up!)
Nevermind. See below.

Rolling hit dice: 4, 4
Yup go ahead and roll any hit dice you would like.
( ooc split gold, take weapons wanted, when possible sell the excess to start a group pot?)
