Erriviel takes a moment to think before speaking, "Captain! The kind Sir Aubreck said that this ship has been missing for years. These bloodstains are much more recent than that. Whatever lead to the reappearance of this ship, well, there's a high chance it's still around. We should all be wary."
He follows Carrhae down to Area 2, rapier at the ready. When he sees the spiders, "Hm, it'd be nice to grab one on the way out. For now, we may have bigger issues."
Kali closes her eyelids over the hole and mutters a quiet apology for disgusting the captain. “Thanks.”

A rough stone altar dominates this cabin. Strange markings cover its surface, dried mud cakes the floor around it, and humanoid skulls ring the wall above, each mounted on a wooden spike. The corners of this room are piled with garbage and debris — crudely cut wooden logs, smashed furniture, torn sacks, shattered crates, and small piles of dried palm fronds. A staircase descends from the southeast corner, and an acrid odor fills the air.
The skulls are cracked, weathered, and obviously old.

After a few mere moments of being in this room, one giant spider bursts from the webs on the port side, while an ettercap emerges from the starboard side of the room. At the same time, four swarms of insects (spiders) crawl through the deck from below.
The giant spider attacks Carrhae: Bite Attack: 9 Damage: 5 DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 7 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
The Ettercap attacks Sana: Bite Attack: 10 Damage: 6 DC 11 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 minute.
