Az Emberi darts through the water, feeling natural in his new shark form, and bites the priestess in half.
Fjolnir gets 2 arrows off at the other one, who is riding the shark, after moving his mark. Both hit the rider, for a total of 26 damage.
The first mate and Bosun continue firing at the shark. Attack: 6 Damage: 7 / Attack: 21 Damage: 8 both miss due to the difficulty of firing underwater, even though the shark is glowing pink.
The priestess atop the shark calls out to her fishy goddess, and brings forth a bolt of searing light through the water at Fjolnir, who just pelted her with arrows. Attack: 9 Damage: 23 but fails to connect with the powerful blow as Fjolnir swivels to the side.

The shark goes lifeless and begins to slowly sink into the depths. Food for bottom dwellers, along with the sahuagin. The threat seems to be over now as your adrenaline returns to normal levels, and you get back to the surface and back aboard the ship to continue your journey. Miggetter has the crew repair the hull with spare wood and sealant, it's not pretty but it'll hold until you dock, hopefully. You are not far from the port, and should arrive midday tomorrow. He says, "Aye, lads, morale be gettin' low. We lost 13 guards, and they be loosin' their will ta put themselves at risk. Pray ta whatever Gods ya worship that we don't hit anythin' else near port."
Each party member gets 530 XP for that fight. (That could have been deadly, it was a high roll on the random table) Your XP total should be: 8659.
You rest and lick your wounds, wondering what the last day of the journey will bring... (Long rest)
Fortunately, the last day of this leg of the journey sees you docked in the port of Baldur's Gate, which is nestled deep within the mouth of the River Chionthar past several islands. Miggetter says it'll take him a while to hire more crew members and to make more permanent repairs to the hull, but he is willing to continue your previous arrangement if you're willing to wait a few days, as he intends to move farther South. Conversely, you are welcome to find other means of travel.
So, you are in Baldur's Gate for at least one night, possibly more based on your decision of finding other means of travel. What are you going to do?

Absinthe goes with Dirk to act as security while he Preforms as we often have teamed up in this manner. I also take a jug of Stormbrew with me in an attempt to sell it to the tavern. Learning from my last mistake I will approach with a more salesman method. Boasting that I am an up and coming brewer with ancient Goliath techniques unknown to this are. Then offer the bar tender a free sample and if he would be interested in serving it at his establishment.
Fjolnir thanks the captain and shakes his hand- wanders through some markets to buy 60 more arrows, and then makes his way to the tavern for much needed meat and ale.
While Dirk performs poorly enough to be booed off the stage, his "charm" enthralled a barkeep well enough to slide him a few free drinks, a meal, and a bed for the night. (Dirk pays nothing for the night.)
Absinthe accompanies Dirk to the fine establishment and tries to sell his barrel of Goliath Ale. Persuasion: 14 He bites! He offers 3 gold for the barrel. (The actual barrel costs 2 gold and holds 40 gallons, a gallon of ale costs 2 silver, so you're coming out on top by 20 silver. If you accept remove a barrel and add 3 gold to your sheet.) However, the money you make from the ale sale pales in comparison to the lodging cost, as food, drink, and the room combined costs 2gp.
Dustfinger drowns in drinks all night and mumbles in between sips things like, "I gotta get outta here," and, "I can't do this right now," and something about his father.
Fjolnir and Az don't feel the need for as much luxury and end up in a much less fancy place. Their drinks and rooms are cheaper. Each of you removes 8sp for food, drinks, and lodging.
In the morning, you all nurse your hangovers and drag yourselves to the docks to meet Miggetter to see what he's come up with. Dustfinger is not with you, however. Further investigation reveals he is not in his room either. He seems to have taken off early while the rest of you were still sleeping. (Feel free to backtrack on anything here, even speaking to Dustfinger the night before, but remember Az and Fjolnir are at a different bar closer to the docks and Absinthe, Dirk and Dustfinger are at the fancy one farther inland.)
Miggetter greets you with a smile. "Lads, I've got good news with a catch. I found someone who wants tae pay for a trip to Chult! So, we can continue pretty far South. The catch is, he wants ta make sure my help is qualified ta protect him well enough. That's you. He wants to meet you before we leave and test your mettle, I guess. Either that, or I turn down his money and take yours, but he is paying quite nicely."
Fjonir rubs his eyes a moment and give his thumbs up to Miggetter. "W...well ah... let's meet em then, I reckon..." he looks around a moment, and looks over at the rest of the assembled group, "Dusty still in bed then?"
Az Emberi darts through the water, feeling natural in his new shark form, and bites the priestess in half.
