"W...what in ten hells is going on up there?" Fjolnir asks the bard rhetorically. He walks into the cell room and checks for prisoners and the surrounding environs.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Dark things Fjolnir, I'll thank you for inspiring me this time grinning at my wicked success.b I search the room for any loots since everything else is tended to. 20 ..... hmmm...... Maybe I should have screamed again. So, hey.... I hear you are single now I wink at the lady 23
The prisoner room has nothing of note besides the heap of clothing against the back wall, already picked clean of anything good. It looks like the clothing of 12 or so people that have already passed through the clutches of the Redbrands and into the hands of slavers.
The three human prisoners all exit, two females and one male, timid and thankful that you let them free. Only the eldest woman talks. "Thank you so much, brave rescuers." She pushes her children behind her, and stands so that someone is between her and Dirk. "I'm Mirna Dendrar, these are my children, Nilsa and Nars. I fear we were going to be sold into slavery. They killed my husband, and kidnapped us the same night! They took his body. Why would they want his body? I'm sorry, we're a little out of sorts, thank you again, I don't have anything to give you in payment, but if you're interested, I might know where a valuable heirloom is hidden."
"When I was a young girl, my family fled from the town of Thundertree after undead overran the place. My family had an herb and alchemy shop, inside there was a case containing an emerald necklace that was hidden beneath a section of storage shelves. I never dared to return and retrieve it. The shop was in the southeast part of Thundertree."
Noted. "Let's not take them through the crevace of bones the official entrance should be forward I suggest we check the coffins for loot and proceed through thise south doors"
You all get 70XP for dealing with the skeletons and Redbrands. I will note what your XP total should be in party notes.
The stone lid of each sarcophagus is carved to depict the person entombed within — two human males and one human female, all of noble bearing. The inside of the tombs contain mostly moldering bones and scraps of clothing, but...
Among each of the piles of bones inside there is a platinum signet ring, probably worth about 50gp.
I'll add them to party loot.
You open the double doors to the Southeast. Thick dust covers the flagstones of this somber hallway. The walls are decorated with faux columns every ten feet, and the double doors at the west end of the hall are sheathed in copper plate, now green with age. A relief carving of a mournful angel graces the doors. There appears to be a narrow hallway opening up to the South toward the end of the hall.
Let me know if you'd like to change this maching order:
With the rescued family behind, you enter the hallway. About 10 ft into the room, Az Emberi stops you. There's a 10x10 area on the floor where the stones look like they've been moved or replaced. Further inspection shows they are loosely resting on breakaway timbers. This is a pit trap. There are narrow ledges on the North and South side, against the wall, but it's going to take some dexterity to get across.
What are you doing?

-We are all just one failed saving throw away from someone else's fantasy...
How to navigate this and be mindful of our beloved, rescued damsels in distress... oh and that kid. Could we fashion a rudimentary bridge with those sarcophagi? Upon further reflection. I'm not sure we can take these folk through here.
" Rock climbing. The most dextrous of us go first holding this rope. The largest of us anchors. We go one at a time bracing with the rope. By the time all yhe rest of us are across we should be able to help anchor smashface."
Fjolnir looks over to Smashface, "Oi, big fella... look I reckon you might could toss me across 10'... but have a look-see at the columns. theyre fake. maybe you can knock two over and wedge them in the lip of the trap?"
He muses a moment, and addresses Dirk's sound reasoning. "If you could reach your balls, would you be here? I wouldnt..."
