If the others assent, Orlys will continue to break glassy/icy webs with his maul, moving along until something changes.
'Orlys swings his maul back and forth with devastating effect, shattering the cold, brittle, almost metalitc webbing to send broken pieces flying in all directions. After smashing his way through a dozen feet of the cold, sharp mass, the bugbear's weapon finally breaks through the back end of the barrier. As the *tinkling* sound of falling shards subsides, a cold mist rises from the wearied warrior's fur and breath as he pants from the exertion of clearing the party's path.
You all stand in a short ten foot wide, fifteen feet high tunnel, the colour and texture of the stone identical to that in the chamber that you just left. Another mass of silvery webs blocks the way East, while the tunnel runs South for twenty or so feet before cutting back to the West. Standing at the navigator's back as the shower of dust and pebbles caused by the bugbear's wayward strike rains down, Virt narrows his gaze upon the enemy atop the wall next to the bard. 'Moving forward to glimpse the chaotic battle taking place in the cavern to the West, Vaken calls out his suggestion to his companions as he dances back nervously from a loose strand of webbing that falls from the tunnel ceiling to brush the nervous goliath's shoulder.
Before the cook's allies can respond, the fey spider on the wall gnashes its fangs towards Kestrell's left shoulder, the fangs piercing the bard's flesh, but not penetrating deeply due to the man's armour. Meanwhile, while the six-legged spider that Kay injured pivots clumsily around in an attempt to grasp the sail monkey with its remaining hooked legs to enable it to sink its fangs in to feed, it succeeds in tangling the agile rogue up enough to land a bite, but not sufficiently to sink its fangs in deep. ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he).
Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Vaken, still shaken by being knocked out earlier and then scared out of his wits hangs back initially, watching the combat start. Then he moves to 2/6 and yells "Could we fall back to a more advantageous position? We're too closed in and they have too much room to move!"
[OOC] Vaken takes the dodge action this turn.

DM - Waterdeep Dragon Heist PbP
However, both the navigator and sail monkey still cry out in pain as their bodies are painfully violated by the crule arachnids.'
[OOC] RND2: FS1 bite attack vs Kestrell: Attack: 4 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. - hit.
FS1 second attack roll vs Kestrell for disadvantage: 20
FS2 bite attack vs Kay: Attack: 12 Damage: 5 - hit.
*Dice roller edit messed up the original rolls - both were 16 vs Kestrell (even with disadvantage) and Kay - both hit. However, since I didn't see the original damage rolls - I'll make them minimum (2 piercing damage to both Kestrell and Kay), though PCs still need to make the saves. Hope that you're both okay with that.
Anyone bitten by a Feyspider must make a constitution save DC 11 or be poisoned for 1 hour AND have to make a wisdom save DC 11. A failed wisdom save also gives the PC the incapacitated until the end of their next turn.
Kays up now, then Kestrell, then A'ro, then so on.
FS1 is now at 1/3 and FS2 is at 2/4.
D&D is a game, but it's not just a game. It's the ultimate storyboard, a campfire to share with friends, an imaginary call to imaginary arms and a ship to sail to horizons yet undreamt of...
DM Trevails Upon the Trackless Sea
'The spider successfully grabs Kay who bravely struggles and kicks at it gripping her short swords tightly, but she proves too weak to break free of its grasp as it pulls her toward its gnashing maw. As it sinks its teeth into her thigh, she shudders and lashes out at it.'
