A'ro just blinks as he hears Kay's scream and he begins to create the motions to cast levitate on himself. At the last minute upon seeing the white arachnid's blue sigils slip and fall next to Kay, the gust that was forming around him pushes out in a wave towards the spider as he instinctively redirects the spells effects towards the spider, hoping that it will buy some time for his companions to better act by busying the spider with floating through the air against it's will. His mind racing hoping that it works 'Can't let her or any of them die' runs through his head as he hopes the spell takes effect.
"I'll try an buy us some time mates - hopefully this works on that thing." he says nodding to the creature.
A'ro cast levitate on the spiderfey Con Save 13 or it starts floating in the air.
'Polearm-like legs flailing in an attempt to right itself after its uncerimonious crash to the floor, the still inverted spiderfey's too intelligent white orbs fixate upon the crouched and defenceless form of the young rogue. However, even as it's hungry venom secreting maw extends towards the vulnerable sail monkey, the giant arachnid is yanked bodily into the air, hooked limbs thrashing as it rises twenty feet above the ground. As the battered figures of Orlys and Vaken slam down upon the floor of the cavern, the fell spider's legs begin scrabbling across the surface of the nearby pillar. Above looking out from the ledge, hair blowing in a sourceless wind, eyes glowing white, A'ro stands with one hand outstretched towards your enemy, a tight smirk upon the genasi's focused features.'

His eyes begin to spark with the familiar blue energy began to swirl around his body lighting up the dark cave around him. His lips uttering primordial language as he points the stick directing the energy towards the spider.

'Even as Kay is still shrugging off the waking nightmare that had suddenly afflicted her, the agonising pain of both fangs stabbing deep into her body to lift her from her feet shocks the young rogue into action. Rather than letting the pain and horror of her circumstance defeat her, Kay steels herself, thrusting both blades into the open maw before her, resolutely scissoring her own blades to force the fangs to release her amidst a gush of bright blue ichor.
