Kestrell looks up. "Oh, hi Dekket, good morning, did you get something to eat? Yes, well maybe not Captain Aubrey, as he seems pretty busy this morning. Follow me, I'll take you to First Mate Estrue."
Kestrell leads Dekket back to the First Mate and the Bosun. "First Mate, Bosun, allow me to introduce Dekket. Dekket was instrumental in helping us find those supplies last night, and he wants to join the crew. I told him I'd introduce you."
“Thank you Krestell” says Dekket as he walks him towards the First Mate
”It’s a pleasure sir” says Dekket to the Fiest Mate and repeats it to the Bosum. “My mate Krestell here is quite right sir. I would like to join your fine crew sir. I have some experience as a sailor myself. “ he smiles to them remembering that he hasn’t change since last night but he has done worse.
Virt runs forward and kneels next to the halflings.
”I can heal as well, let’s take care of these lads.” Virt puts his hand on one of the twins, “Get the other one, quickly now!”

Following the crash landing of the two halfing sailors, Bosun Drannick begins to gesticulate and looks as though he is about to start shouting orders, when the First Mate places a restraining hand on the dwarf's shoulder and gives a slight nod in the negative. Carefullly watching their junior officers and crew leap to the aid of their injured shipmates, both senior officers seem pleased at the speed and certainty with which the two halflings are cared for. After using their healing arts and just prior to carrying the much smaller crew members to the infirmary, both Virt and Vaken overhear First Mate Estrue say to the Bosun, "Very impressive, wouldn't ye say, Drann? Effective action with no hesitation... and a demonstration of useful and previously unknown abilities to boot. From the Ships Mage and Cook both. That could be ye or I in need of aid one day, and maybe one day soon. Best ye remember that before ye go about creating any more unnecessary grievances... Hmm?"

A'ro nods and smiles "Thanks mate I'll keep that to just us and work to try and show that we are all in capable hands."his voice would hopefully convey his sincerity in the words for what the man had said. He just moves over to the railing trying to stay out of the way as he stares out at the open sky, drinking from his mug.
Following the excitement of the twin's near death experience, as the Mast of Sail leans against the starboard rail, enjoying his beverage and the gusts of wind that periodically sweep the ship's deck, A'ro barely notices a couple of voices emnate up through a hatch from deeper in the ship.
"See! It's happening already. Bad luck it is, I tellz ya!"
"Bah! Ye got rocks fer brains... there's ye bad luck. Careless halfling showing off to a girl, that's all it was. Get back to work or the Bosun will have us inventory AND clean all of this."

As A'ro leans over the open hatch and calls down, he notices about a half dozen sailors down in the hold, moving barrels, stacking boxes and crates and securing a 15' longboat. The burly human male Nubrel appears to be scratching himself without doing a lot of actual work; a female half-elf of middle years with intricately plaited hair is stacking boxes with gusto; a shirtless, dusky-skinned Calishite man with an oiled beard of black ringlets is stowing longboat oars; a huge firbolg with a small spike of red hair on both his head and chin who single-handledly adjusts the longboat on its cradle; a middle-aged human male with a exceedingly long rats-tail wearing a stained, dirty, but otherwise fine yellow silk shirt is wrestling with a large barrel; and the Dwarven Senior Sailor Hendle with his crude leather vest, walrus tooth necklace and prominent grey handlebar moustache.
Everyone looks up to nod at the Master of Sail's statement, with most giving A'ro a chorus of "Aye" or "Ye'sir". The muscled dwarven Senior Sailor squints one eye-up into the bright early morning sunlight that back-lights A'ro's leaning form and calls out in deep voice, "'At's what I just said, Master A'ro. 'Ere'll be no more such talk on my watch, Sir. Ye have me word."
With that, the veteran sailor casts about with a glowering scowl that seems to quell any further talk in the hold as the rest of the crew go about their tasks in relative silence.

And as I said, we could use a few more experienced sailors in this crew of floatsam and tavern-dregs, but ye still ain't answered me question yet... what skills do ye 'ave makin' it worth me time and the Captain's coin to bring ye on?"
The clatter of horses' hooves on the wharf beside the ship raises some commotion, which causes First Mate Estrue to leave the interviewing Bosun's side. Stepping up to the aft-side rail, the Senior Officer smiles and calls down warmly in a strong voice, "Ahh, Captain! Welcome home, Sir. Yer girl and all her get 'ave been missing ye! We're almost ready to set sail. Druht - take those horses to Boomptin's and tell him to stable them till our return."
The First Mate nods at the Bosun and Dekket to continue their discussion without her and descends the aft-castle before marching towards the gang plank to welcome Captain Aundrey back aboard the Shore Shark.
