"That's not a bad idea. I mean, we've got the ghost bartender, what's good for some novelty, but people will only pay so much for novelty in a city like Waterdeep, where there's a bar with a hole leading down into a crazy mage's dungeon, among other things," Briga says. "Printing fliers costs money, though, and there's no guarantee it will pay off for us. I dunno, second guessing a business decision is way out of my experience. I've frequented a lot of taverns working as a bounty hunter, but that doesn't tell me how they're run, and at the Rheged glacier there wasn't a lot of business competition. Just tribes and beasts fighting to survive in frigid, brutal land. Basically I'll leave that to wiser people than me. Like you guys."
"Well what makes you pick one tavern over another? How do you hear about new watering holes? We should find out whats most effective. Maybe we should be a very tame tavern for nonadventurers... they need mead too."

The walk back to the abandoned dragons tavern is short, a beer appearing to pour itself for each of you. It looks like Mirt has been busy with the resupply and has been getting the place fixed up. It looks much more like a tavern on the ground floor now, instead of a dusty unused space. The guild paperwork sits on the desk for the group to go through, but there's a note saying that they are the terms and conditions of each of the guilds. There are a few dossiers but the one on top of the pile is the Fellowship of Innkeepers. There's also information on the Vintners' Distillers' and Brewers' Guild and the Council of Musicans, Instrumant-makers and Choristers. There is more information on the other guilds, but these ones were listed as essential knowledge for any Waterdeep Innkeeper.
Tyrus looks at the pile of papers and then at his fellow abandoned dragons and says, "We should be looking at these documents and following their letter unless we want to get on the wrong side of the guilds..."
He then sighs and adds, "I've been involved in a guild. Would ye be liking me to take a look?"

"You da man, Tyrus," Briga says, giving him a pat on the shoulder. "Being a part of a tribe involved a lot less paperwork. More polar bears, so I guess it's all even in the end."
Tyrus gives Briga a smile and the says, "Well, if you be putting it like that, then I guess I'll tackle this encounter... But the polar bears be all yours."
So, unless Arlon wants to prevent him, Tyrus picks up the wad of papers and his unnaturally poured drink and makes his way to a quiet table where he can read.

Reading through the papers is tedious work, however except for the Fellowship of Innkeepers, have all be signed off by Mirt on behalf of the Abandoned Dragons.
((OOC: Unless anyone wants to do anything in the evening, we can start the dungsweeper guarding.))
Tyrus will do his reading and then organise the others to sign the Innkeeper's document. Presumably a copy of this document will need to be delivered to the Fellowship of Innkeeper's Guild, but that can wait until a more suitable time. The documents, once they have been signed, should be kept where the staff can find them as they will be the ones most likely asked to provide evidence of the tavern's bona fides. After that, Tyrus will head to bed after asking someone (???) to wake him early enough to be able to get to the dock ward on time.

Briga does a vigorous exercise routine with her cobbled together weight set outside of the tavern, and after sufficiently exhausting herself, retires for the evening, playing some mournful bagpipes before it gets too late to where the neighbors would be bothered, and then making scant progress by candle light on the cheap pulp novel she has been reading on and off, before falling asleep for the night.
IC: The next morning, you meet at six bells as arranged and are assigned a group of dungsweepers that are working in the dock ward, the same group as the one yesterday. They go about their business as the first day goes by without issue. This happens for the first six days. It's quiet, it's boring, but thankfully it's the middle of summer, so it's warm.
On the seventh day, you once again gather at the muleskull tavern and meet with the same group you've been seeing over the last few days. They go about their business, and it's just before highsun when you hear one of the dungsweeper guild members screaming and running towards you shouting "Help!"
Chasing the dungsweeper is a giant slug-like creature with hundreds of legs, each of which end with thin spines. Potruding from the top of its head are two bulbous eyes it's fanged maw making up the majority of the "face" of the creature. Under the maw are a number of dangling tentacles, and it's heading in your direction
"I think the dung sweepers are in trouble, here! Some kind of dung-eater, or dung-sweeper-eater, if we don't do something," Briga shouts. "This is worse than that brain with legs. You never saw gross stuff like this in the frozen north, just sayin'.
[OOC: DM, Is it possible for Tyrus to either move forward (move of 25') to a place where he can get a clear shot (with his light crossbow) at the monster from within its 80' normal range, or move to a place where he will be able to get a clear shot at the monster with a held action during its move, presuming it still comes in this direction. He wants to avoid accidentally shooting the fleeing dung sweeper at all costs.]
[OOC: DM, Does the dungsweeper that is being chased have an Initiative roll? When they move might be important in saving their life.]
