[OOC: DM, Do you have any concerns with us splitting the party? I am of the opinion that Tyrus would not concern himself with finding Nim's construct, but would rather stay at the tavern and/or talk with the guard about the Zhent that was among the people killed by the fireball.]

“Tyrus, it sounds like Sara might want to take a load off while we trek around the city. Do you think Wilberforce might be willing to give her a ride around town? Or, is he not that kind of mule,” Briga says.
"Wilberforce is used to be carrying a lot more than just a wee gnome, I'm sure he'd be finding it quite pleasant," says Tyrus. "But she'll have to be walking back to the tavern afore she can be a riding."

(OOC: You can split the party if you like - I'm not against it - and to be clear, it looked like the Zhents were chasing the gnome man that was running toward your tavern, who wasn't a zhent).
IC: You make your way out with the detector as it stops spinning and start to walk around the city. As there are some that wish to head to the tavern, you begin by heading to the North Ward. The detector doesn't trigger on the way back to your tavern, however. Outside, the mess has been mostly cleared. The bodies have been removed, but the burn marks from the explosion still show, including the now-burnt door of your tavern.
(@Tyrus: Does at anyone point you make mention of a wish to speak to the authorities again?)
"There is a way, but-..."Mairi had started to say in answer to Sarlyssa's question about time, only to had grimaced and shake her head. Later on, as the group is taking care of arrangements back by the tavern, the half-elf stayed outside, and spent an odd amount of time staring up at a particular roof top. When questioned about it, she merely shrugged it off with words like "It's nothing", only to go back to staring all the same.
At least once the group is on the move again, the half-elf becomes focused once more, and offering any words of caution one might want before traveling into the Northward. Namely such things as "If there's an area to avoid starting trouble, the North Ward is definitely it! Almost nothing is worth the sorta backlash you'd have to deal with messing around too much with the Nobles there."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tyrus will elect to stay at the tavern and do some fixing up of the damage done to the door and anything else that needs seeing to. He's not a carpenter, but he is an artisan and knows how to work with craftsmen.
[OOC: DM, Does the door actually need replacing, or can it be fixed and the damage covered by a lick of paint. Here's a roll (if required, No bonus applied, but maybe Investigation would apply?): 8 ]
Sometime later in the day, and if he gets the opportunity, he will leave the tavern in the hands of the halfling staff and visit the local guard to enquire about the dead gnome. He will tell them that he fears the gnome might have been coming to see him (with a message from his old mentor, if asked) and wants to see if there was anything in the belongings that identified who the gnome might be.

Saralyssa will walk with the others as they head out to use the device. She will hold it up as they walk around, trying to see if it has any indication of them coming closer to one of the constructs.
Briga remains casual, as they have a lot of ground to cover, but she does adjust her glaive on her back and briefly polish the Silver sheen on its blade and shaft, and ensure her Heavy Crossbow has a loaded bolt, before setting off.
The device begins whirring not long after you enter the North Ward. As you get closer to the tavern, it speeds up to about half the speed it was when you were next to Nim.
Mairi immediately starts scanning the rooftops again for any sign of perching bots in the area. She calls upon Oghma's Guidance as she did, hoping the god of knowledge might provide just that edge necessary.
"Well, that did not take near as long as I expected..." Saralyssa murmurs as she looks at the manner. She walks around it, trying to verify that it is truly the center of the device's detection and not something on the far side of the manner.
“If this is the place, if someone is involved in this, knocking on the front door might not be the best idea,” Briga says. She searches for any side or back entrances to the manor, or places where the gate could be scaled using their climbing gear.

“So there’s an option. Your call Sara, but Tyrus’ mule is a real good sort, and it sounds like Tyrus is ok with it,” Briga says.
"Well I was actually thinking for all of us..." Saralyssa said with a shrug. "I'll just walk as long as the rest of you are."

It seems to get faster going to the Northeast of Trollskull Tavern, and you eventually come across another a manor's 12-foot high garden wall.

[OOC: DM, This all sounds like it is happening on the way back to the tavern, so is Tyrus still with the group? Or is he back at the tavern?]
