As the cry dies away a slightly larger than normal Bullywug hops into view. He is dressed in what he considers finery as he has strange piercings hanging from his lips and eye ridges. He looks over his shoulder obviously very proud of himself as {15} (OOC that was a very nice number but I'm feeling a bit generous so here is another number {7}. Those who rolled more than 12 (Hallard, Tiro and Griff) take [3] points of damage, those who rolled less than 12 (Gilly, Zin and Thrash) take [7] points of damage.
Gilly claps his hands over his ears and keels over into the marsh.
The rest of the party turns to face the new threat. Griff you're up first
As Griff backpeddles in order to create enough distance between himself and the Ornate Bullywug to take the shot his foot slips just as he releases the arrow and it goes wild.
Another Bullywug suddenly appears out of a pool and leaps towards the party. As it does so, the Ornate Bullywug gives a sharp ribbit and it holds off on its attack.
Thrash, Hallard, Gilly & Zibn you're up in that order.
Thrash would hiss as his flail rattles in his hand. "noise not threay.. that is." The lizardfolk would growl before rushing towards the the creature and swinging hard with his flail...
Attack: 18 Damage: 3
before lunging foward and attempting to take a bit out of the enemy.
Hallard turns the ornate bullywog and grins. "You frog people are really starting to annoy me.' As he says this, he points at the bullywog and a beam of bright blue lighting darts from his fingers.
In the absence of any information to the contrary I'm assuming that people armed with bows moved back no more than 5 feet. The Ornate Bullywug (OB)is peppered with arrows, had a chunk bitten out of him and blasted with some sort of Lightning bolt. Nevertheless he looks up with a grin as there is a large splash and another even More Ornately dressed Bullywug (MOB) riding on a giant Toad hops into view and watches. The first bullywug once again opens his mouth and lets out a great ribbit that smells very distinctly of decaying marsh vegetation. Everybody with the exception of Gilly please make a DC 12 {Wis} saving throw. Those who fail take 13 damage those who pass take [6] damage.
The third armed Bullywug who had turned up with the Croaker moves forward to attack but the OB looks over to the MOB and gives a ribbit of negation and the bullywug steps back.
Tiro you're up. Then Griff and Thrash at the top of the next round.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Griff continues to backpedal until he is at least 30-40 foot back from the creature. (OOC: he had 2 movements last round, so I would expect he would be more than 5 foot from the creature already).
Wis Save: 10
Failing his saving throw, Griff collapses into the marsh with a groan.
Griff was only able to moved to about 15 feet away because of the difficult terrain caused by the marsh/swamp. As he is now on zero hp, the old negative HP is no longer used, he'll need to roll a Death Saving throw (1d20 unmodified)
Having just taken six points of damage, and assuming that Tiro is within 5 feet of the OB, he uses his reaction to use the [Tooltip Not Found] for 7 lightning damage, unless he saves (Dex DC13), in which case he only takes half that. Then Tiro will cast Cure Wounds upon himself for 7 points of repair. As a Bonus Action He will target the OB with Sacred Flame to get fiery water falling from the sky onto the OB for 1 damage unless he dodges (Dex DC13).
Assuming Tiro can do that in a busy round. The tooltip not found was wrath of the storm reaction for triton....not sure what I did wrong.
Sorry about that... I actually seem to have less free time during quarantine... 9
How wrong was Thrash .....?
