Three frowns a little, seeming at least somewhat unconvinced by Durlan's words. But, she said nothing to dispute his point, and simply sat back to observe. "Ya know... those might not be the -only- bricks we need." Three chimed in after the attempted swap. "At least I don't think so. But then, I don't think so about a lotta things. But, I feel good about this, uh... not.. thinking so?" She raises a brow and looks to the cieling for a moment or to, before then simply shrugging. "Anyways! There's like... the other hall to check too for it."

"You likely are correct there." Taman agrees with Three. He searches around in this area for any other loose bricks, and would move to the other hall if he doesn't find anything here.
Investigation: 25 Guidance: 1 (Rolling with advantage as I assume someone is helping him search.)
Durlan assists Taman. He also sticks his hand in the slots with the missing bricks searching for any sign of items hidden inside or false backs or anything of that nature.
Thistle swaps the two bricks in the opposite holes, however, neither of the fits, just right.
Thistle "Damn! So not that easy. I still think these things are keys of some sort; we just need to find the keyholes." Thistle does a thorough search of the room looking for more blocks or holes to place them in. He asks Taman for some Guidance and Three for some "Help" Perception 23
(@Grumble: Unfortunately, if searching congruently, I don't believe Taman could offer Guidance since its a concentration spell. But either way..)
If asked, Three would assist however she can in the search. Though notably, with each passing minute into the effort, the Hybrid seems to grow visibly more tense and agitated regardless of any ground being made in the search.

Taman, Durlan, Thistle, and Three all search the walls for any other loose bricks. Taman is making sure to check the holes where the bricks were for any hidden secrets in them. While looking around, Thistle finds anther loose brick, pulls it out and inspects it. This one has a slightly raise star on it.
Taman, inspecting the holes, finds that each one has a slight indentation in the back of the hole: One with a hammer, one with a shield, and one with a star.
Three and Durlan watch as Thistle and Durlan may have found the remaining brick and figured out the key.

Durlan thinks to himself for a moment trying to recall as much information as he can about they Mythos surrounding Moradin hoping to glean any parts of what order this should be done in. Possibly if there are any stories as to when any of these 3 symbols were relevant and in which orders.
If Thistle looks to Three, she'd stare at the stones any stones presented, then just shrugged at him. "Don't look at me. I got maybe... a quarter dwarf in me at best, and I dunno what de heck all this about. Like... why got that far for a secret door?" She questions, but then rubs her chin. "Unless... its a vault. A very, very, VERY elaborate one, considering what we had to do to get here." A smile began to creep up on her face. "With lots of shiny, sparkly things... Hm! Anyways, that's all I got at least."

Realizing that nobody wants his hammer or crowbar, Rivon offers to juggle the bricks. This is about as close as he's going to get to solving the mystery.

Durlan tries to remember any stories of the Dwarven Religion to help him figure out the order that the bricks should go in. After thinking for a while he does remember somethings:
The Dwarven creation story tells him the most. First the heavens were created, then a star fell down from the heavens, crashing into the earth. From that impact birthed the Dwarven god Moradin. Then with the All-Father's hammer, Moradin created the Dwarven race from the Soulforge, sending them out on their way. The dwarves fought their way through the world with hammer and axe to make a place for themselves. after they had proliferated themselves throughout the world, they now had to defend their homes. So the Dwarves built great cities under the mountains, and devised great methods for defending their homes. They also created a great fighting force that was also able to defend themselves with the tall shields that would stand about 3 inches over their heads and about 3 inches wider than their bodies. With their abilities to be master crafters for weapons and armor, they were able to make a solid stand for themselves amongst the other races of the world.

Durlan nods his head in agreement. "Well looks like the abbey's teachings did do me a little good eyy." Durlan quietly chuckles to himself, then shifts to a quiet somber tone.
As the group slots the Star into place Durlan says "From the impact birthed Moradin, the All-Father." As the group slots the Hammer into place Durlan says "And with his mighty hammer came the dwarves, brought into existence from the Soulforge." And finally as the group slots the Shield into place Durlan says "When at last his creations had carved out their place in this world, up went the walls and shields to defend their homes and clans.
@Balar: Presumably Durlan's Detect Magic is still running as it lasts 10 minutes. If so he'll scan for any items that might be revealed in the chamber.
Thistle places the bricks in the slots, as Durlan recites over each one. As the last brick is placed, there is the slight sound of stone grinding on stone, however, it's a very soft sound, almost as if it's buffered somehow. At the end of the hall, a door slowly slides open.

So the indentations match the raise symbols; that means we put the stones into the correct holes with the raised sections filing the indentations.
What is the order in which you put the bricks in the holes?

Hammer, shield, star. Or we could do all three simultaneously. Thoughts people.

So, Star; Hammer; Shield. If no one objects (and he's tall enough) Thistle will put the keys into the locks.
