"Well, I swim faster than Mic...I swim really fast, and I'm small and sneaky, so I like my chances. If I start getting swept away, you'll reel me back in. I think we're better off with you watching for trouble and covering me. I worry that you're just too big to cross the bridge without support. I'm really small and light, and, you know, quiet. So even if I don't swim, I think I should go first, again with you holding the rope and watching my back.
"Also, once I'm across, I can drive a piton in for security and I can cover your crossing with my bow.
"But I'll open it to the group to make the decision."
Three pouted and almost even managed a glare at the halfling before releasing the tension in subconsciously balled up fist with a sigh of defeat. ".. I can be quiet to you know." She said softly, but otherwise would voice no further complaint. Instead, her attention to turned to the rest with the light of hope in them. But if all others were also in agreement, then the chimera would sigh and make herself ready to take the one end of the rope and reel Rivon in as necessary.
Rivon finishes tying the rope around his waist. He snugs his super swimming hat to his head, just in case, and, as quietly and delicately as possible, makes his way across the bridge, avoiding loose bricks or other potential dangers.
Three breathes a sigh of relief, before then looking to the others. "Can I go last, Tam? Just in case whatever made those tracks comes sneaking around or whatever."She asks of the wizard, yet would startle a tidbit after and look to the others, if only for further confirmation.
If/When it should come to be her turn to cross, and if only to prove a point to Rivon, she'd try again to mirror the halflings lightness of step in tip toeing across and watching out warily for any stonework ready to give away.
Upon successfully bumbling across, Rivon drives a piton and secures the rope, giving a handhold and (ideally) a tether line for the others to cross safely.
(OOC: Phew, at least Three didn't beat my stealth!)
Is there anything on this side of the bridge to tie the rope to? "Let me see if I can tie this end off over here, then the rest of you can use it to cross." Taman calls back to the others.

Seeing or believing Thistle to be hesitant to cross even after all others had done so, Three takes it upon herself to scoop the armored gnome under one arm, take the rope in the other hand, and begin the crossing of the bridge. It wasn't as if a few extra pounds were going to be that much trouble after Durlan's armored butt made it across without an issue? Right?!
If by some miracle her luck yet holds out, then almost as soon as they are on the other side, she breathes a sigh of relief. "Well that was freaking tense, yea?" She said with a grin. "But shall we keep going?" She added, looking to Rivon with an anticipatory expression. And just as soon as the halfling moved to scout, she'd be following along, if though at a distance of maybe twenty to thirty feet at best. Plenty enough room, or so she hoped, to avoid undoing any of his efforts.

Three, carrying Thistle in her arms, tiptoes across the bridge, only knocking in a few of the bridges loose stones and makes it to the other side of the bridge to join her companions.
The dilapidated bridge leads to another ledge that winds southeast alongside a very large lake, apparently the source of the underground river. The cavern is quite large; the lake's far shore is lost in shadow, and the echoes of water seem to indicate a very sizable cave. As you travel to the end of the ledge, you notice that the ledge has broken into 3 tiny island-like steps that lead to another part of the ledge further south.

"Yes, let us try the smallest first." Taman agrees, though he gives Three a pat on her shoulder in sympathy.

@Three Can I please have you give me a DEX save, as there is now too much weight on the old bridge?
