Toot Toot zips down the massive hole until he finds the group."Everyone! there is a super cool and big Pyramid up there! It was soooooo cooool!"Toot then looks around and notices the diaramas and his eyes grow huge as he flys over to Niech E with the creation story thinking it might look familiar 8. (that was a religion check) "Have you guys seen this?" Toot then sneezes surprisingly loudly for such a small creature. "Yuck, what is that smell?
as Three tries to push and pull the door, she notices the following:
The door is carved with a sun symbol and appears to open into the room; there are hinges on this side and scratches on the floor. There is no visible lock or handle on it, although a slight gap stretches across the top of the door. Eight holes seem to have been bored into the door; they are about an inch in diameter, but nothing can be seen in them. The door seems to be fairly thick. The lintel is arched, with a keystone at the top.
As Rivon inspects the diorama in the center of the room, he notices that the scout is holding a small staff that is able to be separated from it. Other than that, he's not able to glean any further information.

Three more than readily accepts the gift. But where it came to actually following Rivon's request, she'd look back and forth between the 'stick' and the halfling several times, before finally with an innocent smile and genuine sense of curiosity, "What's Tic-tac-Toe? How do you play that with a door? Am I suppose to poke the holes?" After be given at least some directions, Three happily follow suits on trying to carry them out with far more carefree enthusiasm than one that should be more worried about the toxins slowly filling the air.
Three tries the "stick" in each of the 8 holes on the door, but none seem to have an effect on it.
Meanwhile, Shere studies the door, trying to glean anything from its past. He remembers that a sometimes with doors for temples like this that seem to be protecting something, the keyhole is often hidden. Searching around the door a little more he notices a hidden keyhole just under the keystone.

"I dunno 'bout that, Mr. Riverz."Three replied as she absentmindedly watched Rivon worked. "I don't know much 'bout the world outside books and the lab and that one 'venture to that mountain with all the orcs 'n stuff. But, from what Boss used to say, they ain't play around back in the day when it came to doors. 'specially doors to like hidden temples and stuff. Otherwise I'd have had Tom ask the door a few questions by now."She admits, gesturing to the maul currently slung to her back.
Despite some misgivings, she waits until Rivon's finishes or until a minutes passes. After which, unless there's some success on the halfling's part, then she'd go back to studying the 'staff' still in hand, rubbing her chin a couple of times for good measure, before finally giving some of the dioramas in the room her attention. Most of which would only get a passing interest before a thought occurs to look among the various figures in each niche to see if other weapons were removable, before then starting up a little collection.

Toot looks back at Shere and replies "tiny hut? I can make a big hut. It is fun to play jokes on things where you knock on their door and vanish into the hut that no one can see" Toots sneezes as the gas seems to get thicker. "hmmm, we should open a window or something."Toot then sees Three with the staff and says "oooooo that looks cool, can I have that? It would go great with my wizard costume. I sometimes like to pretend to be a wizard but its hard finding the perfect wizard staff. Usually I just find a key or something and pretend its a staff. Its so funny to go into a room of people and yell out Fireball while looking like a menacing wizard."
Rivon checks the door for any traps and finds none. Three tries to find any other weapons from the dioramas. As she searches, she can't find any other items that are able to be removed except for the staff. Meanwhile, Shere is inquiring about Clerics casting a tiny hut with Toot and Toot states tha the can make a big hut and also asks Three for the staff to use with his Wizard's costume.

"Hm?! Uhhh... Sure Toots! Here ya go."Three passes on the staff. "I was kinda hoping that MAYBE, uh.. yea, that maybe putting it in the hands of the others after doing a bit of a switch-a-roo might do somethin. But, uh... that quite pan out."Three snickers, or at least started to before it turned into a small coughing fit.
"Maybe there's something else we're missing..."She trails off there to once again re-examine the various niches and their display. Eventually her attention turns back to the one Niche(C) and the various offerings being made to the priest, and if only for the sake of testing things out, Three places three gold piece before the priest as well and says, "An offering to the gods."She then waits a moment to see if anything comes of it. And if not, then she moves on to next to hold her interest(Niche E). It's there after much internal debate that three cuts her thumb with one of her canines to smear a bit of blood on the sculptures in the process of being formed.
And if nothing came of that, then she'd huff before -- if able to do so -- tried swapping the places of the Pimply figurine with that of the snail.

It's clear that something is bothering him, looking a bit distressed as he glances about the room somewhat frantically. As Shere thinks about it, and Rivon tries to get to the keyhole at the very top of the door, Toot is fiddling with the staff from the diorama, it finally dawns on Shere that the staff is the key for the door. He also calls out for your guides, River and Flask, to which there is some shifting in the rubble that came down from the ceiling and a furred hand emerges along with some muffled voices.

Shere at that statement, hangs his head, then looks back a Three "Si, put the shaft in the hole chiquita. Lets see what happens."
Meanwhile he studies the door since it seems interesting History 22 game log. Maybe something from the past.
